probably not what everyone else wants but


  • a magical girl site that isn't sailor moon, because I think it's over-stayed its welcome and honestly just seems repetitive at this point

    1. maybe based off one of the other magical girl series, like shugo chara or cardcaptor sakura, or even something completely original ?

    2. i'm not mentioning madoka, though, because as great as it is as a series/manga, I don't prefer the gritty, edgier tropes if it's in a magical girl/boy rp

    3. it would just be nice to see magical boys and girls transforming and saving the day from monsters, with secret identities, cute outfits, creative whimsy/powers, and memories or villains to combat, all the while entertaining ordinary lives, light-hearted themes, and slice of life goodness

There was an interesting one years ago that I vaguely remember. It was essentially a take on Western vs Eastern mythos. I believe the Moon Kingdom was inspired by medieval Europe and ancient Greece - and their opposition was inspired by various ancient Asian cultures.

It was a pretty fun take on the series - one I was kind of shocked I'd never seen before.


i remember this! it was a looong time ago, but it was definately a unique take on the series

I'm not sure if I'm too late to the party or not, but 🌸 Silver Springs might be up your alley??

We are an animanga small-town site based on Harvest Moon and the slice-of-life genre. What sets us apart, of course, is that all of our characters are personifications of certain objects in every-day life, and we'd love to have more newcomers and residents of our small town. We also have no problems accepting Hololive fcs!
