About Gods Among Us

For eons the world of myth has co-existed alongside mortalkind. Hidden beneath the misty curtain of the Veil, monsters and gods have schemed and warred. Their battle and manipulations to forever be unnoticed by those not touched by the divine.

Until The Veil Fell

No one is sure how or why, but it's gone and now mortals know.

They know about the lies, the abuse. How they've been pulled like puppets on strings, forced to dance while others laughed. Mortals know gods walk amongst them and they want answers.

About Gods Among Us

- Set during the early 2000s (2008-2009ish) in the fictional city of Mythos.

- Play as a god, demigod, or a mortal (Mundie) (Maybe even monsters)

- Greek and Norse pantheons feeling kinda cliche? No worries! Use any pantheon you'd like (with a few exceptions)

- Faction-based events

- Acquire legendary items from mythology

UPDATE

Well, not really an update - more a question.

I'm not sure whether to use jcink or proboards as a host. So I figured I'd ask and see what everyone else thought?

they pull the axe out your face and say "was it the boogeyman?"
personally, i use jcink for all of my projects. i really like being able to be able to stay on my main account and just post as my subaccounts. i also despise ubbc and newclass different scary

but there are good things about proboards too. the macro tree is pretty sick

UPDATE

I've decided to go with Proboards as the host. Not only that, but I've opted to go for minimalist skin for the site. It'll save on time plus harken back to the early 2000s like the setting.

If all goes according to plan, I should have the site open in early December. I'll give another update when I've got something a bit more substantial to show.
