Oh I see, so it IS normal!

Thanks, that helps a lot with clearing this up. The warnings came from the bottom of the jcink wiki and I'm just overly paranoid about potential security issues. Don't want some rando messing up the site or causing any crazy js injections and whatnot >_<

Hello! I'm adminning a jcink site and this is all new territory for me. I want to know what sort of admin control settings I need to have on so that people can use templates from resource sites like this one, and place it in their posts on the site.

I sort of get how DOHTML works but the internet seems to be warning me against that idea. Should I just enable it for everybody on the site? What do people usually do?

I joined this site some three years ago when I started out with forum RP, though I mostly just lurked and browsed for code templates. It wasn't too long before I got to coding some of my own, and even landed a job in UI! I discovered a bunch of my long lost friends over here and figured I'd try harder at generally holding a presence here for their sake ^-^

As for an about me section here's what I got:

  • Born in 1991, and technically British. My parents are from India but I was born here in England.
  • Stared roleplaying on the book of faces at around 2012, started on forums at around 2019.
  • Currently spending a lot of time on Final Fantasy XIV: Ayu Futoshiki (Jenova) & Enninisotera Papylon (Cactuar). Also enjoy Pokemon and many things Nintendo.
  • Can't whistle.
  • Decent at racket sports.
  • Currently admin of a site called Ylsewhere, which is currently under development. It's jcink and I'm used to proboards and generally have little idea of what I'm doing.
  • Ayu#1907 on Discord (19th July happens to be my birthday ^-^)
  • Allergic to citrus.
  • Try to draw my own characters if I can.
  • Very wholesome. Am told I'm funny. Comic/cute writing style.
  • Friends with Adira, Aine, Zytl and I think Kida is here too, somewhere?
  • Still can't whistle >.<
