also, for whatever it's worth -

(1) people don't only lurk on M threads to hateread/"ew haha cringe", i promise! take it from me! i'm...labelled as a good writer by others often enough to feel Passible, but one of the things i REALLY struggle with is writing realism of any kind - and whenever i encounter a writer who is genuinely good at conveying "in the moment" stuff the way M threads do, i v. much have the urge to wander into their threads like a lil boarding school boy w a notebook to take notes on how to Write Good. basically what i think i'm trying to say is - in my rp experience, 90%+ of people i encounter have good intentions. using that logic, 90%+ of the views on the thread you're talking about probably have good intentions too.

(2) for the other % of those views - emotionally secure people do not hateread. live rent-free in the headspace of ur haters until they learn healthy coping mechanisms.

[attr="class","spunkbox"]hewwo there!! i'm currently looking for a love interest for hagihara rei (portrayed by raiden shogun), who's tl dr is basically japan's acting minister of defence, pretty stern and callous and uptight, 10/10 into hobbesian and darwinism. she also has that particular habit of underestimating people or things and kinda thinks that they're belooow her, which is where girlboss came in bc i have literally no idea what to call her so let's just stick with girlboss ok! anw girlboss could come from any background, like middle or lower or even upper class! i'm thinking that her first meeting with rei is kinda accidental-ish. like maybe she's a private eye or journalist who accidentally caught rei doing some real shady military deal in the dark and just kind of more than determined to bring her actions to light, with ofc the power of bureaucracy and nepotism standing in her way. but the jizz is, rei might come to admire her tenacity and overall edginess esp when she threatened girlboss a few times and it didn't do the magic like usual.


[break][break]basically, this is more like uhhh enemies to lovers trope, with rei being the Villain trying to "persuade" girlboss to be on her side instead (offering her a position in her cabinet, or being a capitalist meanie, etc) and just puts her constantly on edge with her overall meanness and unpredictability. we can start from the first meeting or daily 'accidental meeting' routine where rei 'accidentally' shows up at girlboss' workplace to lend a hand, depending on where you'd like to start it off ofc! i'm also more than inclined to do ahem ahem part if you want!! teehee<3
