So, can somebody explain why I can't have my cats at some apartment complexes but people can have their kids? My cat only bothers me with their zoomies and meows. Your children bother all of us with their yelling and toys everywhere. My cat tears up my shoes. Your kid breaks the banisters in the complex. One is not as destructive as the other.

Mad relate. There’s been times when I’ve had to walk away from a site because fellow staffers made me just depressed and anxious to deal with.

You’re not wrong. I feel like so many of the sites are built around sex. Like I’m here for it if it helps develop a story but having it as a focal point of your sites character is a bit too much. That being said, I do wish PB would loosen some of their rules when it comes to that and gore.

Seconding what said, but I think the talk about 'dying breed' came about because when you're looking strictly at animanga skinners for either of these host sites, the number's incredibly small. Proboards is the only host between the two I have any concern of actually dying out please, guys, don't let my baby die, but even in a nice hypothetical where neither host has problems staying afloat, some fresh blood on the design front would be - as the hip young folks say - totally tubular, maaaan.

(Also, I'd include more dark mode toggles if the one time I had to code one, it wasn't ABSOLUTELY ABYSSMAL. *weeps*)


I pray with this new update coming proboards will spring to life like African savanna during the rainy season. I’m trying to learn proboards but i feel so dumb half the time. I’m a visual learner and just seeing chunks of code can make my eyes crisscross applesauce. Hoping to one day have the skills to make my own skin but at the rate I’m going it will be 2035.

Hello all!



The idea is an open world Hunter x Hunter style site. We want players to have some real fun here. The universe of HxH is frankly huge. The aim is to give players the chance to really make some cool lore and bring life to this world. We are aiming to make the focus on the player’s own personal growth be the true means one measures their power.



Idea is that players of the same rank would theoretically perform in all areas about the same. Depending on how you structure their strength, weaknesses, and hobbies will greatly determine how they interact in the world. While in the world of HxH there are many people driven mainly by the idea of getting stronger, many people focus on their own passions and drives. Because of this, we want to judge player’s progression through the site by these manners. Players will undergo personal ‘Arcs’ similar to that of your traditional anime/manga series. These arcs are a collection of threads and events that accumulate to a greater story. During these arcs, players generally grow. The higher a person gets in terms of power, the longer and more intense these arcs become. Nen we hope will be a very open sort of ability. Nen in the cannon series already comes with a great deal of check and balances in terms of the abilities that can be accomplished. Because of this, we are open to most abilities, within reason.



The site is in its very baby stages. I’ve just got the discord made lol. So we welcome anybody that wants to be staff on the site or just part of the community that wants to help place a bit of their thumb-print on our world. All are welcome!
