today was a good day
one where i planned out a few exciting things for myself.
i don't normally make any sort of deal out of my birthday, since it's a forgettable day i'm not saying that to be sad, i'm saying that because i'm literally asked myself when my birthday was and forgot like a fool
but, i'm finally gonna buy myself a pretty new console, and play some of the games i've been wanting to play for years

life is short, so do the things you want to do in life. talk to the friends that mean the most to you, even if you're unsure of yourself. you might just be overthinking things. don't sell yourself short, you're doing the best you can, even if you don't feel like it right now. sometimes, you just gotta let yourself have a few days off, to relax, and just have fun. smile for no reason, even if you don't feel like smiling, because it's oddly soothing.

... this turned into a ramble, but i hope it helps someone!

the neighbors are being obnoxious and it makes me look forwards to in a few months when i have walls that aren't shared with loud ass people

on a more positive side, i'm so happy my creative juices have finally come back because it feels good asf to have my fingies stretched

uh hi hello i've come here with two i've recently watched and still cry over weeks later.

one is called sirius the jaeger, and it's beautifully written and such a different take on the norm. i fell in love with it the first time i saw the art (thanks in part to for that) and after watching it, the story is so, so good. it's only 12 episodes, so it's an easy watch (which i did in one day oops) but it's def something i'll put on again!

the second one is called banana fish, and i'll start by saying i went into that one knowing absolutely nothing about it. again, i was taken by the art, and the story soon too my heart with it. it does start out a tiny bit rough, but the characters are so... good and wonderful, and also heartbreaking. i still tear up a tiny bit over the whole series, but it's a good kinda memory!

I think I'm going to go buy the nintendo switch and a pokemon game today but holy hell it'll be almost $400 is it worth it tho

i wasn't sure either on if the switch was worth it or not, but i have absolutely 0 regrets on buying it! i play a lot on handheld and it's honestly a great investment for me, since i'm the type of person who can't idly be doing one thing, i gotta be doing at least two for my sanity. so having the handheld + something else is super handy for me! plus, a majority of the games i've picked up i've enjoyed a lot c:

speaking of the switch
i'm v tempted to restart breath of the wild now that i know what i'm doing. maybe after i finish ocotpath [thinking emoji]
