PUNKI'S WISHLIST

FAVORITE COLOR(S): Honestly, most any colors work for me, so long as they're not neon or overly-saturated. UH BUT A FAVORITE I GUESS would be navy blue, or maybe lilac.
FAVORITE SERIES: I have to pick one? Damn, uh, okay... I'll go with either Fairy Tail or One Piece. :x hold the phone i see people making lists Seven Deadly Sins, Saga of Tanya the Evil, Ancient Magus' Bride, My Hero Academia, GATE, HunterXHunter, Haikyu!!, Log Horizon, Overlord, Toradora, Kill la Kill, World Trigger, Magi, honestly just take your pick i have a hard time picking
MISC FAVORITES: Celtic and Greek mythology, dragons, Arthurian legend, dragons, and did I mention dragons? <3

GRAPHICS: A signature banner would be pretty cool... maybe about 500 x 120 in dimensions? I'm not worried about specific colors or anything. Pick something I like. cx
ART: I guess I don't have anything specific I want, but I'll happily take anything I get? *cough* Dragons and/or fairies are always cool. I do have characters that I wouldn't mind getting some art done for, but I feel like that would require the dropping of the secret santa veil. XD

PLEASE AVOID: Posting templates. Don't get me wrong, I would love anything someone made especially for me, but I don't even have anything I'd use a template for right now and I'd just feel bad. Also, no fanmixes, I think, because while my music tastes range far and wide across the spectrum, I'm at the same time very picky about my music. :x

THINGS I CAN MAKE: ANYTHING (except illustrated art) My primary domain of skill is in coding and I will happily make anything of any flavor or variety for anyone except Jcink remodels nope not happening. I'm afraid I couldn't make any fully-blown skins for anyone for this, though. </3 I can finagle my way around Photoshop and the Internet to come up with some pretty solid graphics, although I'm sure there are people far more skilled than me. I do consider myself a solid writer, although I'm not sure you'd wanna ask me to write fanfic because I have a hard time with that which probably cancels out my chances of writing something for anyone because everyone probably wants fanfic. But I could probably get creative somehow. o3o

It's the shortened version of "punkinator," which is the nickname my mom still has had for me when I was a little kid. I used the full version for my username for everything for forever, until my friends started calling me "Punki" for short and that's just kinda stuck as my identity. Oh, I dabbled in the occasional melodramatic display name as a wannabe angsty tween, but I've never exactly been a picture of angst, so I got over that pretty quickly and settled on Punki because it's very me, and I've been that way ever since.

And now you all know my deepest, darkest secret. :P

Well, it's nice to know that it's not just me, then, because I'll be the first to say I was pretty sure the quality of this one over the last one was much better, so I was a little worried and mind-boggled. Don't worry, subjective is what I'm looking for. Art is a subjective thing to begin with.

You're probably right on the matter of the rotating banner, although I did try to make it as user-friendly as possible. My general philosophy, on a personal level, is the more graphics, the better, because nothing brings a design to life like some well-chosen pictures. But I understand that not everyone is as persistent and rigorous as I in my quest for good graphics. ^^' If the images in question were smaller, do you think that would make it more premade-friendly?

Not gonna lie, the board list remodel always gets me. I don't even know why. This time it was like pulling teeth, and that's probably why it's not great, because I never went back to redo it. If I were to try and fix it, I would just scrap it and do it over again, probably not including the trapezoidal shapes.

I'm glad you like the thread setup! I'm the sort of person who feels the need to scrap everything and build my own stuff from the ground up, so I hate leaving all those little things untouched. (Main reason why JCINK and I do not agree... So little structure control...) I completely understand what you mean. I tend to try to avoid the possibility of running out of room in miniprofiles, but I think I ended up giving myself too much wiggle room, considering that I had so much info moved over in a horizontal position, and then I didn't want to give up the dimensions for the big image. That's right about where I started rushing myself to finish the whole thing because I really wanted to be done.

IF I'M BEING COMPLETELY HONEST, those modals were my favorite part of the entire thing. <3 I had to worry absolutely not at all about how they would fit into the setup for the entire body of the forum, so it was really easy to just let my mind's eye run wild so there will definitely be more modals.

I low-key started another premade last night because I had the ITCH, although I'm not sure when I'll finish it because I seriously doubt it will get done by the end of this week, and I've got another project that needs to get started around that time. :x I'd be happy to send a screenshot if you wanted a look at it - it's just a mostly-complete header right now. XD
