i dunno if this counts but: online research! i love to google things i'm not quite sure about related to my character, the setting, or certain subjects. for accuracy and to get a feeling for my characters! i've looked up things such as "how long does it take to study for archeology in college?", the average height and weight of a male or female at specific ages. and various other mundane things. i also learned all sorts of synonyms for words too! it significantly expanded my knowledge over the years. c:

i have a habit of not taking a fc i don't know the source of. ie, if i never read/watched/played even a tiny bit of it's source material, i'm reluctant to use them for my oc's fc. i've slowly been breaking away from that mindset. but, man is it hard sometimes!

edit: oh, beaten to this by hanny LOL. but yeah, my point still stands LMAO.

i also refuse to use a fc that doesn't have at least 5 pages of fanart to look at. AND the fanart has to be HIGH QUALITY! so that narrows down my searches really badly sometimes.

i played my first survival horror videogame, recently ("once human") and you don't know how much i need this in my life. :'(((

i know this sounds weird and even crazy if left unchecked, but: a animanga/game pandfandom site where players can rp AU versions of canons. Like "what-ifs" or popular alternate universe fanon ideas. like, in universe they're incomplete/imperfect clones of canons copied by some idk, a machine god? trying to mimic heroes and villains from the multiverse for some reason. but failed to recreate them all perfectly. idk, it's been nagging my brain for weeks now and i can't unlodge it lol

I just realized that the bus service i use to take rides for my appointments is closed on weekends, so i can't schedule a ride. AND I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT ON MONDAY! AAAAAAAAAAAAA- .... looks like i gotta cancel it on Monday :(

as said on the tin. i dunno why. but sometimes, more often than not. i'll write this really good post that i'm proud of and eager to put out there. but then i get overwhelmed with his mass of anxiety awaiting to read my rp partner's reply. like, i don't get it? what am i nervous about? it's like i get worried my post will have consequences? i really don't understand it. maybe it ties to my actual social anxiety.

but i get super nervous when people read and reply to my posts sometimes. then i end up in this situation where i don't wanna read it, so i ghost my rp partner for like a week before i manage to get the courage to read and reply! it's frustrating cause i love to write and interact and create these fun stories with other people! but also, anxiety is terrible and i tend to judge my writing skills and i suddenly don't wanna write for a bit.

any clue what causes this? and how to handle it when it gets to be a hindrance? (without therapy, preferably. because i don't wanna talk to my therapist about how i can't write on an online roleplay forum because i get anxious sometimes LOL)

edit: it may help that i also have ADHD and autism, and that may tie into my difficulties.
