All I retweet is cats and some of what's affectionately referred to by the fandom as 'gay chinese hell cult' and I make one bob barker post saying SPAY AND NEUTER and I just get this really super aggressive post sent to me in DM's, and I'm like, "Who the f-" and I replied back and they actually are just really bad at english and wanted to say they agreed with me. I was like, "Oh, lol, good luck with the cats." and then I realized that they're from Iran and I'm just like, "....how did you even find me- WHO'S TIMELINE ARE YOU FOLLOWING." for a good twenty minutes.

In other news, SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR OUTSIDE ANIMALS FOLKS.

After a bloody week, and after the electricians cut our main power and then had to dig a whole new line, accidentally severing our internet cables, then having our isp fixing them, I finally have internet and power and tv and heck yeah, yeet me into being unproductive for a decade.

I know it's mainly confirmation bias - but I gotta wonder why my family and I get into the weirdest situations? Our house is hooked up to obviously a meter that passes electricity into the house which goes to a transformer. The wire - underground - somehow faulted and it only affected my neighbor and I for a random reason. We had four different electricians - a combined like 80 years on the job, and they've seen this maybe twice. So we still don't have power and it's killing me. I love being joked with saying "Oh what did you do to cause that!" -- I was literally on the porch and heard an /explosion/ and it scared the wits out of me. I will hurt you.

(Which by the way, US folks, it's completely acceptable in closely packed residential areas to lay live wire NOT in pvc pipes so if you have a metal cane/crutch and it hits the right spot, you can get electrocuted- and it's way more than the standard voltage you would deal with in your home. Make sure you call 811 or the code in your area if you're digging in your yard more than a foot or two- it's free from what I can tell.)

As much as I love lawyers, there's some lawyers I genuinely have been working with that I have to keep on them about literally everything. I know more about their billing processes than they do.

I personally dislike when I have to use site mandated templates beyond registration templates (Inventory/Profiles, etc.) because sometimes I genuinely can't read them. Plus, to literally respond to every single post with a possible template that I have to go into some thread for and copy? I just want to post them. Most of the time all my templates are is a little box with a border at this point cause I'm too lazy.

While I do like blockquotes or post templates on jcink that are a button away, I would honestly just talk to someone if I couldn't read their template. I highkey will get very irritated if someone replies to me in aesthetic- not thinking of form and function - and they get upset when I genuinely can't read something - but that's only happened like a span of 10 times in over five years?

I will x out on a site if all their templates are in a separate thread and I can't click a button to bring them up. If I have to go into a thread every single time to copy them, that's a definite no. Now if it's just simple coding blockquotes or whatever, that I don't care too much about but I don't really mind at that point and I'll put up with it if I had to.
