Another quick work in progress update to let you guys know I'm picking away at this! Please feel free to keep posting in here or PM me for stuff, you can come run around and poke at the site itself if you wish.

Instead of making a thread and having complicated templates to fill out, your "application" is built into your profile. Simple bbc can be used (bold, italics, strike out). The colours change to match your member group cause Alcove coded it to be cool like that. You fill it out with as much or little as you want, you go 'yo staff read over and pop me in a member group pls' and then you go and start RPing. Set up a plotter or a wanted ad or maybe you want to go make a pinterest board or an IC journal, that's all your choice, it isn't mandatory to be accepted on the site.

There's a lot of personal crap I have in relation to this kind of stuff. Lotta mental health and life perspective things that aren't really any of the vague public internet's business. I guess the quickest way to sum up how I deal with fear of failure and rejection has been I'm just. Tired? I'm so tired of being afraid and wasting energy on it and I'll always be afraid in some form but how does the saying go? There is no courage without fear?

Be afraid. Choose to try to do the thing anyway. Take responsibility and pride in what you can do, what you've managed to do, in understanding your limits and knowing that you tried to push past them. Or take comfort in knowing those limits and knowing you're staying within them. Sharing writing and art of any kind is exposing yourself and it can be fucking painful when things don't turn out 100% positive.

I'll always have my mental health to manage and unknowns to be afraid of, but hey, I'm trying to stick to my choice of getting involved in running a site, and we'll see what happens. Worse case something I run lasts barely a month and I learn a few good pieces of information, and I stick around until people want to try something else. Forum RP may not be for me, but I gotta try it out before deciding that, yeah?

Pokemon Conquest based site, bonus points for being more magical, even moreso if they bring in reBurst. Heck, if you want to think of it as "PokeFire Emblem" or "PokeFantasy Tactics" I'd be totally down for it. I wish we got another Conquest title, there's so many pokemon they did not use, and introducing the fairy type as an invading force could be fun as fuck to shake up the everyday warring going on.

While I will not commit to being an admin of another site while I am attempting this Zelda one, I would be more than happy to help you out with setting it up both text and graphic wise, and some basic book keeping in the long term.
