switching to the dyslexia friendly fonts on codepen really was a big deal for me, honestly. i wish i had done it a lot sooner. does coding in comic sans strike me as a bit goofy? yea, but it sure beats constantly making typos in my coding bc i couldn't read the screen properly. i think it really has improved my coding in some ways. it's one of those little things that reminds me that oh. i talk about being dyslexic all the time, but it's another when i actually take steps to accommodate it (which i've never had the luxury of doing before) and it's wild.

i want to code and/or write so badly this weekend but my shithead brain literally will not let me. i took my medication and everything. i'm just sitting here with just the theme from saw playing on loop staring at my monitors and nothing happening, and i just want to bash my head through the screen and it's only 11:30 lmao

but having adhd is a superpower, right? 8)

worst thing is discovering how many doctors and optical techs know very little about what they do. also, how much they overcharge. talk abt a 5x upcharge in some places.

a local optical i go to sells frames that cost less than 7 bucks for over 100. :sob:
My best friend did a job similar to yours for awhile and she told me a lot of what you did! Learning that I was sometimes paying literally like 200x what I needed to for glasses is insane. I will never feel bad about asking for my prescription and buying my glasses online at places like zenni ever lmao
