So, too, is Death possessed of infinite strategies and a gaunt nature.
Yeah the Ichigo/Orihime and Renji/Rukia ending bugged the hell out of me because at the very surface, Orihime's crush on Ichigo was highlighted the most and it's never really shown him reciprocating her feelings.
I just read all 686 chapters of bleach and what bugged me about the last chapter was not the ichihime vs renruki debate, but the shipping itself. instead of pandering to fandom/time-skipping to family times, kubo should've focused his last few chapters on the immediate aftermath of the war and some follow ups on fan favorite characters (i.e. what happened to urahara and yoruichi? the arrancar? etc). Which leads me to say... I'm not sure if this is a trope, but what bothers me the most is creators neglecting an ideal ending of the overall story itself by bending / pandering to the whims of their fandom and the so-called "ship wars". Bleach is one of these things, and so was Legend of Korra (idc what anyone says but that 'korrasami' ending was dumb af). tl;dr vers. Nothing gets me TIGHT faster than a rly good series being reduced into a ship war
