*me preparing my site*: ok, i've got the skin, color scheme, and theme of the site all ready with pretty custom mini profiles. i've got the rules all written out, along with an application... oh right, time to write the lore

sometimes I think that it's ok that one of my closest irl friends and I have an age gap of 4 years, but then I reference things and I realize the generational gap. like for example, a coworker and I were talking about when we were younger, we had ringback tones and my friend pops in like "wtf is a ringback tone?"
