i've been having some pretty dark thoughts.

Man, it's getting to the point where I'm having trouble reading all the posts made on the site. I can't tell if I should feel happy or sad. I like reading all the posts, but once there's too much to read you know you're getting a lot of content and that's pretty cool.

but yeah flexbox (display:flex;) is a CSS module with a ton of features that i'm not going to try and list, it's seriously a holy grail and it's 95% cross compatible across browsers!

flexbox is basically a way of making things inline with each other without using tables. what's more, you can also have things wrap, so things will go onto a second, third, fourth, etc line, whereas with tables you'd have to make a new row and add in columns.
