ASTONISH is an upcoming modern fantasy, Pokรฉmon roleplay set in the Gaia Region, which draws inspiration from Greco-Roman culture and mythology. We are a non-canon, and alternate universe set in relation to the Pokรฉmon canon.

We are currently in our beta-testing phase, and expect to open either later this month, or in early October. Keep an eye out for us!

How heavily based on Greco-Rome will this be? Like will I be able to play an out of touch 40 year old man named Patroclus Marcus Divinicus or smth who is a patron to a bunch of people and just so happens to run a team of goons or

This is definitely a character idea that wouldn't be out of the ordinary!

But overall, the site is more inspired by Greeco-Roman culture more than anything. So, while a lot of our setting and flavour is definitely drawn from their mythologies, culture and language, it's not a perfect reflection.

what interesting legendary choices! i wasn't expecting them! i love how you're choosing the "less popular" legendaries compared to like Giratina, Palkia, Diagla, and things like that! leaning towards my first character being a Darkrai worshipper! I'm even more stoked now! can't wait to see more lore drops, if any! like the classes, mayhaps? :eyes:
