i think as a consequence of my friend forcing me to binge & liveblog all of naruto ive been thinking about naruto rp, even if only to write kunoichi that arent about as useful as wet paper bags (ffs kishimoto!! u did sakura so dirty). i havent written in an action/shounen-inspired setting in a hot minute tho

a site that facilitates several dnd campaigns that are all interrelated/connected to a single overarching site plot. occasionally campaigns may combine or run parallel—perhaps one character jumps from one campaign to another for a time. that way many plots can run at once without everyone getting crowded into one huge event & i don't get lost keeping track of a huge amount of characters. plots can be intimate & geared toward a small group of characters/activity levels/posting styles/what-have-you but still serve a significant purpose

this is more of a "system i'd like to see" & prob would require a gargantuan staff/several dms running in Perfect Harmony & honestly i can't see it ending in anything but a huge logistical clusterfuck but i just got out of the shower & it sounded cool in my head

i wonder if a "site timeskip" could be logistically viable :thinking: like for a fe3h- or fe4-themed site, for example. or even a zombie apocalypse site. it might be easier to just rp two different times with 5 years in between them but it would also be super cool if the site marched toward an inevitable "timeskip" & everybody's characters & the site's setting itself came out the other end fundamentally changed by the events....... #thinkythoughts

hi, everyone! thank you so much for your patience—i know it’s been a bit since our last official update. but i have good news! we as staff have decided that the site is pretty much ready for you guys :) FIRE✽FLOWER will be open tomorrow—thursday, 11 june, 2020—for new members with a spankin’ grand opening promotional event (or events????????) ready for y’all to jump into!

the site has been in its soft opening phase for a few days now while we play-tested the site’s systems & fixed up the skin, which has actually proven to be very beneficial. we’ve had to re-develop some of our systems to be a little more sophisticated. we’re all the better for it! a huge props to our current members for rolling with the punches. you guys are great!

we’re really excited to provide writers with a unique shoujo-flavoured animanga experience! we hope to see you guys tomorrow <3

i’ll leave you with some pinterest vibes for one of our two main cities: fujishima!

prevalent in shoujo manga for some reason but for character dramas in general: can we please stop using traffic accidents to raise the stakes/shock the audience etc. if you require somebodys life hanging in the balance for your character to have an epiphany thats lazy storytelling and im tried of reading it
