i can't scratch this itch and im livid

which sounds dramatic, but the reality is that i got my nails done all cute (sea salt blue ombre). but now they're so thicc and blunted (first time getting powder dip nails and i had no idea what they were) that i can't scratch when i'm itchy ๐Ÿคก ๐Ÿคก they are really cute tho

mmMMMGH I've probably said this before but a "fantasy based on reality" sorta thing would be nice. Like, aesthetically Final Fantasy XV and all sorts of fantastical nonsense. The blacksmith and gunsmith arguing over their sportsteam from across a busy street. A bunch of dumb teenyboppers trying to outrun a RAGING BEHEMOTH in a beat-up car. etc etc. pls gib

Hello! I'm Trish, but on God Machine (a jcink site!) I'm Admin Lancelot! Our site premise is essentially "the gods are giant robots and it's cool as heck." That being said, we are nearing completion! We just need some mods to help out when things really get rolling ๐Ÿ’™

So far I have my fellow admin, Robin, who is truly wonderful with technical aspects and mechanics, and one mod, Breezey, who is a wellspring of experience!

I just need two other mods to help out with creative and technical aspects :3 I'm gonna be ambitious and draw out the specialized mechs, so some help with that would be great.

I'm turning this into a progress thread, hope y'all don't mind! We have a longer premise now! Progress has gotten a touch slower since i'm in crunch mode with thesis, but we should be opening in about a month or so! Please contact me on discord love-deluxe#3073 if you'd like more information!


In the year 4200 A.D, the countries are united under geographical spheres: the America Sphere, the Eurosphere, the Eurasian Sphere, and the Afro-Arab Sphere. These spheres are allies under the New York Treaty as the Earth Alliance. In recent times, there have been several political gambits. Some have pushed for the Eurosphere and America Sphere to unite again. Others have pushed for the Oceania Sphere to once again separate itself from the Eurasian Sphere (for the nth time). In a time of great mechas, Steeds, piloted by bold Knights, politicians still hold the reins. 

At the head of the herd? The Pangaea Party. A new radical party founded first by Clarissa Hawthorne. Taking her place as leader of the political party is her grandson, Congressman Yancy Hawthorne. Charismatic, handsome, bold, and kind, Yancy Hawthorne โ€“ a decorated former Knight โ€“ had successfully united the Spheres under one collective Pangaea. This heralds a new era of unity and peace within the Earth colony. 


Not everyone is happy with this, though. 


Former Knights โ€“ now Black Knights โ€“ and a mysterious new form of Steed have launched several attacks against the Earth Alliance. They are deadly and efficient. 


Some turn to God for guidanceโ€ฆbut the gods are closer than one would think.

It is 4200 A.D. Our beautiful earth and our colonies among the stars are at peace. The New York Treaty has made this new era possible. Countries are united under spheres; these spheres are united under the Earth Alliance. On the surface, all is well. That polished veneer that is fed to the populace shows only peace.

Ignorance is truly bliss.

The harmony is uneasy, at best. Unrest between borders across the globe and the skies have trickled into the news media. To top it all off? Mysterious attacks led by rogue Steeds โ€“ machines operated by Sellswords and Knights who turned their back on the Earth Alliance.

With a tenuous era of peace and attacks from apparent terrorists, there are some who ask one question. Where is God to guide them?

The gods are closer than they think.

Hello all! I decided to further flesh out my idea for God Machine here and see if anyone wants in on it >:3c This is essentially an idea for a book I intend to write, but I thought it'd be fun fleshing it out with fellow writers in a play-by-post way!

[ BASIC PLOT: Understanding basic religion, religion is simply fairytale and hokum unless powered by BELIEF. Thus, the gods are only powered by beliefs (and for some reason they take the appearance of giant robots bc those are kickass). They have minds and functions of their own, and are essentially biomechs like in Evangelion, but slowly lose power to function on their own as belief dwindles in favor of technology. So they travel far and wide and find their planets and locations to rest. They have enough power to rise again should they be needed, but only enough for a few desperate moves. I,e; should their chosen pilot, or PROXY, be in grave danger. ]

I do have an overarching plot, but that'll be my little secret hehe. Inspired by the likes of the Mobile Suit Gundam series, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Xenogears + Xenosaga, and the like, this is most definitely set in the future! I would love for some federations and unions threatening the Earth Alliance >:3c As well as bounty hunters and space pirates trying to hunt down these exalted God Machines to sell!

There are rough ideas and details slowly being chiseled out by my friends and I. Before we go any further, though, I wanted to see who might be interested! There's giant robots, clones, cyborgs, and space smooches!
