Despite all the efforts of the greatest magicians and doctors, his condition worsens and he passes away, it is assumed that this will be the end of the illness, however after the late emperor's funeral the disease begins appearing in the city below as well."


What Is It?
Aldiron is an original fantasy RP site with a stat system and a discord channel for dice rolling, has a tabletop game style. Players will have access to two unique races and six classes to create characters to role-play as. A war is brewing that will feature three sides of various moral standpoints, none of which are presented as wholly evil.


What are you looking for in staff?

Admins
I'd appreciate it if admins had some level of html/css experience under their belt, I'm not expecting you to be able to code a skin from scratch, but you should be capable of editing the skin for updates and events, i'd like admins to have some level of experience, though it doesn't have to be forum rp, having run a dnd game or a discord rp would be fine. You will be expected to be able to write out announcements, participate in worldbuilding, and communicate ideas effectively.

Moderators
Moderators do less creative writing, and a lot more dealing with people. If there is a disagreement that cannot be resolved, you will be expected to play as a mediator to resolve the conflict. You are to understand and enforce rules. It is your job as a moderator to be approachable and someone that members can ask questions or help guide them around.

Moderators are also in charge of watching the dicelog, making sure that threads are using the log and their stats, not fudging numbers for a fixed outcome.

Come join our discord for a little informal interview, I'm not expecting droves of people, so come on in and tell me about yourself. I promise I am usually much less scary when I'm not using my professional voice.

I actually came up with the idea for this a good while ago on the last site under a different username, and I believe it generated a little bit of interest, but it's more developed now, and I have much more time to spend working on it. I'm a world-building nut, as has been evidenced by all the other rps I have proposed, so a friend of mine proposed making a wholly original world, so when I remembered that I'd actually put together a little bit of a plan for that, I jumped right into it.

Aldiron would be a stat based rp with a diceroll combat system. Players would be able to govern their own cities and participate in one of two sides in a violent upcoming war. Word count won't be outrageous, I'd like this to be welcoming to people new to rp, so somewhere around 150 words?

Okay so, I'm tryina throw together some premades for reasons even I cannot rationalize. I want the hover to have this translucent white bit over the image so it's less distracting and you can read the info in the hover, but the boxes get covered. It's probably an easy fix, so I'm gonna dump it here and go drink a soda and feed the cat.

Odyssey is a work in progress, it would a stat based RP following cannon for the first season or so, and then branching into it's own story. A whole lot of this is me trying to work in things fans would have liked to see the show explore, lots of worldbuilding for alien races and differing views from different people, and an exploration of morality that was never tackled (in a show about teenagers blowing up heavily manned space ships.)

I'm looking for staff who are interested in this concept first and foremost, not for skills or experience, but it would be useful if you happen to have experience in, or interest in any of the following.
  • Coding
  • Graphic Creation
  • Tabletop game-play
  • Managing a community
  • Some niche scientific subjects; Xenobiology, Aerospace Engineering, Quantum Physics (I just want someone to talk to who understands anything I say ;;)
