So the mind's oscillating within the realm of the Miyazaki mindset— either going to retire or drop my next magnum opus. I'll probably feel a lot better once this whole school situation pans out, I stop falling off the ball with my self-care routine, and I get back into reading and watching things.

A small smile on his lips as he figured that he'd taken her by surprise, as he gets up from his position. Returning back to his seat across from her as she recomposed herself, he looked at her like she was the moon, parts of her hidden away, phases waxing and waning. The pull and push of tides were the water's way of paying their respects and bowing down.

For some reason, the fact that she didn't say happiness was somewhat reassuring. Still, he couldn't quite wrap his head around the concept until she gave him a more concrete example.


"D... donuts! It all makes sense!"


It made absolutely no sense.
