I remember in the 2010s, it was super popular to have high school rps where the students could be mythical races. Would love for this concept to make a comeback if just for the nostalgia

yup! I do this with stuff like face claims. people put their face claims as custom profile fields and it automatically updates a thread with them. I've only ever done it on jcink though.

you'll be able to see stuff like this in action when our shitpost panfan opens

I'm glad someone raised the issue of 'triggers' being overused. As an uneducated peasant, it didn't even occur to me that the oversaturation of the word 'trigger' was diminishing the severity of the word. In my head, I was beginning to conflate 'triggers', 'squicks', 'content warnings', etc all into the same meaning. I'll definitely pay more attention to the specific terminology I use in the future.
