Hello! I'm trying to code a sidebar to hold the chatbox for my forum? I don't need anything super fancy, just a box that will come up when you click it! I have some simple references for what i'm looking to do, I'm just not sure how to actually make it happen?

Man IDK why I bother trying to join established communities anymore. I talk and it feels like I'm that person someone invited but no one actually wants there. Why have plotting methods at all if no one is gonna match me in effort? Whatever.

SO I'm trying to fix the main profile on this site so that the History, personality, and appearance sections will scroll once they reach a certain length, but I'm not sure how or if that's even possible?

This is what I mean, the history section at the moment pushes everything below it down and I'd like it to have a scrollbar instead so that everything can be visible.

Is there a way to do this? I know it probably has something to do with the overflow variable, but I'm not sure how or where it'd need to be modified?

I don't have too many specifics tbh, but I can list a few general desires!

- Fairly simple to break into, I'd love a really simple app process!
- Small town, school, just something generally slice of life!
- Animanga FCs, or just illustrated FCs in general, I'm not really looking for RL face claims. Bonus points for allowing original art!
- A good active community, I'm pretty active and would love to find a site with other people who are also active!
- No wc or a small one? I can generally write a lot! But I don't like feeling pressured to fluff out a post.
- Allows non-humans, I wont turn away a site that's humans only, but I'd love the option to play non humans, shifters, elves, other such fantasy type characters. This one's not a hard requirement, but it'd be cool!
- Small town magic fantasy setting would be super cool, again less a requirement and more a 'this would be super spot on'!

I kind of just want something kind of low key and easy, something relaxed to get into y'know? 

So I've been dying to have another Disney/Dreamworks based 'panfandom' site, I'm thinking of taking my idea I posted at the top of this page(or page 23 if this bumps to the next page) and using it for said idea?

- Jcink, I'm already actively working on the site
- Disney/Dreamworks characters will be playable, with very little restrictions as to what films you can pull characters from.(yes animal characters will be allowed too!)
- Semi-personified? Characters are still going to use their own canon animated faces, but I'm running it more like a personified site in spirit? Your character essentially just believes that the canon stories they came from are a dream and the life you write for them on the site is the life they've always known. They're aware of their canon story, but most of them just assume it was a weird ass dream. I don't think I'm explaining it well but I'm doing my best...
- No wordcounts, roll-call style activity checks with no posting requirements, you basically just have to give a heads up that you're there and tell us which characters you're keeping and dropping.

The gist is a college town with a big ass magical school(they teach normal classes and fantastical classes, kind of like hogwarts meets a normal ass university), the playable locations will be contained in this town and the larger downtown area, it's a blend of modern meets high fantasy and magic. Animal characters can speak and attend the school, use their paws like hands ala all dogs go to heaven, that sort of thing.

It's all very WIP information wise, but I'm curious how many people might dig the idea! TBH I just miss having a good Disney based site to haunt and wanna hang out with other Disney/Dreamworks people and write characters from that stuff.
