would honestly love to see a site that isn't a million years old, doesn't require FCs, and allows playable orcs and dark elves that look like drow. not warcraft or warhammer please. elder scrolls is fine.

also no wordcounts or stats.

i actually had a concept for one but i don't have the time to run it but basically: the outrealm gates between worlds connect to the realms of death and now everyone can get back to their world so now war, which has been the deciding factor in every conflict, is now basically useless. so now we have to find new ways to resolve conflict and get along with each other.

it'd also allow dead characters (like black knight, lloyd, linus, sigurd, dierdre) to be played.

I joined a panfandom anyway and I currently play Ninian and Yuumi there. But I'm still looking for consistent longterm partners, especially if you love older Fire Emblem games. If you're patient, I'll even play FE4/5 characters too-- just have to finish those games first.

Panfandom with original dragon bonds. Faction-based, with "territory claims" shifting in the neutral areas depending on the amount of finished threads or posts in a certain timeframe. Not necessarily based around fighting; simply having civilian presence could increase the influence one faction has in a territory, since those civilians could arguably vote in leadership.

Allows OCs from either the existing world or pre-published worlds, because I could honestly dump all my OCs somewhere. Inclusive of book canons. Preference for illustrated mediums but it's not heavily enforced.

Characters could start with a dragon, ignore the dragon-bonding thing, or hit a certain number of posts and get a custom designed dragon (because making custom dragons is hard work, i'm not doing it for everyone who joins because a lot of people end up flaking; hitting a certain # of posts means the effort isn't wasted). Dragons would be of equal rarity and each have different physiological traits and powers.

The faction conflict can be ignored, esp by civilian RP'ers, but a faction must be chosen (you are a citizen of either faction's land). Factions are probably generic Dusk Clan and Generic Dawn Clan, probably either Seelie and Unseelie fae courts or orcs n elves. Factions can interact in neutral territories; established neutral cities can become major melting pots of both groups. Faction just determines what route your character votes if you're a civilian.

First phase of the RP will probably be based around determining some sort of chain of command now that the Queens of the Factions have fallen into eternal slumber. Lots of room for power-hungry villains and well-meaning heroes to gain control.

May also be willing to do some shit with Warcraft canons. I tell myself I'm leaving Warcraft and it never ever sticks.
Primarily interested in f/f pairings that are NOT Sylvanas/Jaina. Big one is Liadrin and Yrel, though anything with Garona Halforcen gets my attention.

For how I prefer to post, I'd rather get together like once or twice a week and just volley posts. Keeps my focus and I'm more likely to post if I have to post quickly. I'd rather have short, one-action posts rather than long, carefully written posts. Post splicing is not my thing.

Okay so.

I've been looking at a few panfandoms but I kinda want someone to thread with playing a character I already know. Of course, I'm willing to do just a generic one x one over Discord, or maybe even a private discord RP with multiple interested people, for these genres only. I am looking for:
- League of Legends (Noxians loved)
- Fire Emblem (Elibe, Tellius, Magvel, and some Archanea ONLY)

I like to play on Jcink and primarily 3-3-3 sites. Largely only interested in playing with other adults; I'm 27 and I'd rather not play with minors. I don't do word counts. They give me anxiety. I've narrowed down the selection of panfandoms to ones that are LGBT friendly, since while I am interested in some heterosexual pairings I'd rather have the freedom to play gay stuff without sending the admins a three-page dissertation on why I should be allowed to ship Talon with Vladimir. May be interested in crossover crack ships, especially if they're f/f or involve Zelgius or Echidna (two characters I'd love to play).

If you have a strong plot in either of the worlds I'm interested in, I'll be willing to go for it. Story > shipping, but I've included ships because ships are often a point of interest and if we do panfandom it's nice to kinda have some kinda duo in play. I may be open to other ideas and suggestions, but bear in mind I'm not really interested in most enemy ships (i.e. Ashe x Sejuani, and I count Sylux due to strong Sylas Headcanons).

Eh I disagree. If you run the site loose enough, you can have both. Like, if you're statless and don't do hard systems and don't limit what Pokemon people can have or play, it becomes easier to just make a RP that feels like you're in the Pokemon world rather than the Pokemon games. It helps if you don't make DMing threads Staff Only, or if you don't require that every aspect of a route journey be played. My issue with a lot of hard system Pokemon sites is that they do feel more like a game than a RP, and it does feel pointless to have characters that don't revolve around battling or contests. But if you take out the game aspects, you can have both.

Trust me. I know what I'm talking about. I run the site that is both.

I keep wanting to do a more light hearted AU where it's just back to the old League lore of having the Summoners and the fights being "guys please only fight here instead of nearly tearing the world apart with magic again" bloodsports. Scandals of saying a certain champion is too powerful so there's magical restrictions put on them. In world arguments of people writing fanfiction shipping a champion with a popular summoner. Negotiating contracts to be part of the League but you're not paying me enough and why did you allow that person from Demacia/Noxus/Bilgewater in?!



yeah yeah i know it wouldn't work with a lot of the new champion lore but still, lots of hijinks to be had

Honestly I prefer the newer lore and the potential it brings, but I would still probably join an old-lore based site because I like the old lore too.

I've personally always viewed this as being a matter of intention & focus

A site with a major over arching plot and factions intends to be a plot driven action including story with events and plot influence and things determined by character interactions etc etc.it's more like a story book or an action movie and the intent from the beginning is to pass through Plot check points and play out the story as participants in it.

Slice of life is more about a setting and general interactions resulting in something far more laid back. The goal is to have a nice general setting for characters to established in but no over arching canon story, it's more about the blending of every day adventures and shenanigans with the occasional "but what if this happened?!?" Thrown in to help keep it spicy. They also tend to rely more heavily on member driven plots to make stuff happen than staff driven.

Ex:
A fantasy site where vampires and werewolves hate each other and have been warring for centuries, the war is hitting a boiling point and about to bleed into human society upsetting the cosmic balance between the special and the not, how will you survive when the world starts to fall apart?!?!

Vs

A fantasy site where non humans coexist with humanity, magic and gods are abundant and well received. Peace is the common state of mind and the world can't wait to hear your story.

The latter is most likely to be labeled slice of life because while a werewolf pack and a vamp coven might be fighting in it the intention of the site is not to focus on them specifically, just to let them exist.

A fantasy site where they are the focus may have slice of life elements or characters in it but they are not its main focus, just something that isn't entirely shunned because there's no reason for it to be pushed out when it's just kinda there.


Eta: to be a good girl and obey the rules of the thread..... Kinda feeling a semi modern fantasy setting again. Just a little bit. Miss playing my unruly demons/vamps
