I don't know anything about anything, but if I had to make an assumption the genre of panfandom lends itself to wide appeal. Naruto sites or Pokemon sites are only going to appeal to Naruto or Pokemon people, but since you can play (almost) any character on a panfandom you drop a much wider net for players.

Is that really a thing?

Oh, shoot sorry! I forgot a step. In the board wrapper, find this div:

It looks like you've pretty heavily edited the code already, so I'm not sure how to get exactly what you want, but I have isolated all of the variables you want to change.

Centered Infobox and Quicklinks
Go into the Forum Wrapper and get rid of the table surrounding the infobox & quicklinks. All you need is everything in the <div class="sp-slideshow">. Then, go into the CSS and find the styling for .sp-slideshow and change the margin to be auto like this: 

.sp-slideshow{position:relative;width:500px;height:275px;margin:30px auto;}
The 30px part sets the top and bottom margins.

Moving the Navigation Bar
So, it looks like it's using an old version of sticky navigation. You need to change the top value in both #theFixed in the CSS and this script at the top of the Board Wrapper.

Moving forward, my strategy is to just set aside one day a week to do bumps on resource sites, check affiliates, and do link backs. I really don't have the energy to go out and do advertising pushes. I get a pretty steady stream of first time adverts just doing link backs so the advert is still getting around.

Almost four months and 20+ prospective members later and we've only gotten one (1) new member. I feel like we're in a catch-22 where I figure low activity is probably what's making the site unattractive to new members, but there's only five members total including myself so figuring out how to keep the discord active without just talking to myself is difficult.

I don't mind where we're at, and I love the members and plots we've got right now, so I won't be abandoning the concept any time soon, it's just hard not to have the thought in the back of my mind about trying to figure out how we can have so many people come in super excited about the concept only to have them leave a couple weeks later and what can be done to draw in more members.

For the first month or so of opening, I was very much stuck in a mentality of "no one's joining, what rules can I bend to make people like the site more, but still stick to my original vision", but even though there's only about six of us with characters, including myself and my co-admin, I've reached a point where I'm pretty zen about it. Could I change the site to give it more general appeal? Yeah, maybe, but we've got a handful of good people making fun plots together and that's really all I can ask for, honestly.

From a couple days ago, but I saw this thread and it made me think of it.

You know what, there IS more than enough villagers at this point where you could feasibly have like a "loose canon" animal crossing rp. I feel like the biggest issue would be running into headcanon debates and fighting over the more popular characters.
