i can't code from scratch, but if you'd just like help setting up a skin you've purchased i know my way around jcink and editing code probably too well! aside from that, i think tumblr is a really good spot for finding coders to commission for a custom skin if that's more what you were lookin' for

The stairs creak under his feet. Pale eyes look down to the dirt coating them, another reminder of the journey he's taken. All to come here, all to be faced with the same dilemma. Elves don't take well to seeing a drow; this is known to him. Deeply known. This elf wants something from him, sees value in him that can be used to his advantage. That's the only reason he's being tolerated. It makes his skin crawl.

He knows something about his parents, has leverage. There's a plan here, so what in the hells is it? It's frustratingly close to piecing itself together, like something on the tip of his tongue- There isn't enough time.

Each boot feels ten times louder than it actually is once they hit the bottom of the staircase. Murmurs from the living space stop. Expecting him, because that's what high society did with guests. Even ones they merely wanted to use. Ozias took a deep breath before walking into the space, expression as neutral and calm as possible. He wasn't usually the best at wearing masks.

Another figure has joined the Lord. One with horns and a tail, and a handsome face- which is enough to shock him. A tiefling, in a city full of elves that couldn't bear to see a drow. It either confirms that outsiders simply get used in cities such as these, or is supposed to be seen as a comfort. To put him at ease, falsely or truthfully. "This is Lysander, I do hope you'll agree to allow him to join you."

Looking at Lysander, there's a chill. Not out of fear, but simply... at a lack of anything. There was nothing behind his eyes, expression not even bored. Simply... blank. It was unnerving. "Join me? Will I be needing company for a chat?"

"No, dear boy. But you will be needing it to get through the Upper city tonight. You've created a target on your back, you know." Pale eyes squint, dragged away from the Lord back to Lysander. The tiefling offers a polite shrug in turn, a near apologetic smile. "Having company to ensure no one stabs you in the back is better than getting stabbed, no?"

Adding a voice like that to the mix only further confuses that unnerving feeling from earlier. It's silky, like honey. The emptiness before is replaced by what feels like an attempt at playfulness. At coy. There's an underlying current still, but saying no to a generous offer could get him killed. "... thank you- to both of you, then."

It's Ariadne that gets pulled in by the idea of a revolutionary. Big grandiose ideas of heroism, someone who fights injustice at every turn. It's no wonder she wanted to help them. Himself, on the other hand- it's not quite as convincing. In their travels, their paths had clearly diverged. Her trust in people around them versus his own hesitations held stark contrast against one another. The only reason he'd even arrived was because he heard of a drow cleric around that wasn't himself.

A part of him is still all too convinced that this war is going to end soon.

Kio'ro Kysai is confident and proud and so convincing even with a bruised cheek and a bloody lip. Damn handsome, too. Enough that in better circumstances, he would've tried to chat him up. It didn't stop his sister from looking at him with stars in her eyes.

But this was going to end very, very badly. It felt like something he so inherently knew to be true. He had tended to their makeshift morgue, had seen their losses. Ariadne got to heal and inspire, but he understood that most of them would end up with him soon enough. Their fearless leader had mentioned a big push soon, which only spelled death.

Ozias knew that Kio'ro's sister must see the same signs as him with how she paced. They whispered to one another in a darker corner afterwards, but he didn't need to hear it to understand. She was a healer, like them. Not built for combat, unlike them. She would only be able to watch her brother throw his life away in the next coming days.

He was fairly certain he heard her cursing at her God later into the night, as he passed by her tent.

On the day of, he merely waits. This isn't his battle to fight, and so his talents remain to the morgue. It's solemn, a silence that only death knows. The silence is only interrupted by the true essence of life. Ariande is the one to tell him the news, bursting into the tent with tears in her eyes. Kio'ro Kysai has been captured. He is to be hung in town square. A town square where the rest of his family lives, where a mother and father will have to see their eldest son die.

Pale eyes close, a deep breath taken. "We've done all we can then, Ari. It's time to go."

oh my goodness i forgot this existed! she is now 2 years old and she's very very big lmao

turns out she's part maine coon and also part ragdoll so that explains why she's 15 pounds and it rlly truly is all muscle

personally i prefer guidebooks but ngl sometimes if a site has lore that members can add to, sometimes threads can be helpful too? that way member-submitted lore can fit more seamlessly versus having to figure out where to add it in the messy code that a guidebook can be. i rlly don't mind either way, and i don't think it's a genuine make or break for most people

genuinely naming is always the worst part for me, but i go on all those name meaning sites and just research for however long it takes for me to find one i actually like. or if it's like a character from a wanted and i've got a last name and more solid energy to aim for i start to look for more specific things from there that i feel match best. like,,, i needed a pretty & rich boy name and bastian came to me like a ghost in the night from a webcomic i read years ago? so inspo is taken sometimes

heyo! i've got a few options to toss ur way! if you wanted to join a panfandom i've got petrichor, always looking for more canon mates for any of the characters i'm playing over there depending on where ur interests may lie after taking a peak at the canon list
