Just watched a hilarious comedy called Epithet Erased. It's actually super lit.

Two things!

Firstly, I invite everyone to watch the first season because it is freaking funny. Looks like it has two seasons. Secondly, I want to see an RP based on this very creative idea. It'd be the perfect opportunity to expand on the mind's imagination!

Hi to anyone reading through this! So, the gist of this post is, I am trying to figure out how to do more with a slideshow banner. They make sites look so beautiful, but I am having a hard time figuring it out on my own. Don't know if I should just request for something to be made. Honestly, I'd rather be taught how to do it myself to get some new skills. I've got my rough draft concept idea (using paint due to lack of idea on how to code it) for each slide on what I want to do. Again, it's just putting together the coding to get it done. And let me know if this is supposed to go someplace else!!!

I'll describe what I'm trying to do in this first concept idea. The big black box is where I'm trying to code up a welcome box for members and guests to read through for a summary of the site. Below it are two smaller boxes intended for event links, or some other deal. I'm not sure what else they could be for. To the left is where I'm putting the title. And that empty space on the right is going to be covered by the site's banner image (pretty sure putting the background image in there is no problem with the CSS style sheet). How do I do this part?

This second slide is my partial attempt at making a staff listing. The "Administrator", "Global", and "Moderator" sections were coded, but not very good. The small boxes are intended for staff member images to show who's what. And that big box to the right is for a list of links to navigate the site, and a box for updates or a word counter, or something. How do I manage all this, exactly?

And the third slide is where more stress and anxiety come in. These five black boxes are intended to hold the images of member's, or their RP characters. Or, maybe a better way to describe them, "RP leaders". The white boxes next. I'm trying to look for a way to get hover images or text to slide up over each of the image boxes. Motive of this part is to show what kind of leader these individuals are. "Somebody, President of Someplace", or something or other. How???

And so goes my need for coding help. It's definitely a lot to ask for help in, but I really hope someone is willing to show me how to do these things. Let me know if help can be had. ;-;

Site Name: Kingdom Hearts: Light v. Dark

About: It's the same Kingdom Hearts universe, with all of the characters we know and love, but here it is with a big twist. Members can take control of our favorite heroes and villains to play out their stories as seen in the video game series, or they can change the course of history using their own flare. If there's a desire to make up something new altogether, then making an original character and plot is a must.

What We Need:
There are several positions open on the site.
  1. Global Moderator -- Someone who will take the lead in maintaining the site's business when the Admin is unavailable. Helping with updates to the site (design, systems, etc.), app approvals, mission control, shop management. Really, though, just need someone who can be trusted with a variety of work on the site. Doesn't have to know how to do everything. If interested, training can be provided.
  2. Creation Moderator -- Someone who is willing to manage the flow of applications for characters, abilities, and equipment. Additional work is managing the flow of submissions for character training and ability learning.
  3. Moogle Shop Moderator -- Someone who is willing to handle purchase approvals and working with the Moogle Shop content. This does include adding or removing items from the shop list, adjusting prices and item functions.
  4. Mission Moderator -- Someone who can manage the processing of custom mission applications, mission completions and approvals, reward distributions, and world mission creations (adding missions to the premade missions list). Of course, when it comes to creating missions, this mod is not expected to do it all alone.
  5. RP Moderator -- This position is dedicated to the flow of RP battles and helping members resolve any issues being faced in their threads. RP Mods have the power to archive threads if members aren't actively moving them forward until finished. If members are having a dispute in their battle scenario, the RP Mod is expected to help them find a resolution or end the matter manually.

Essentially, these are the staffers needed for the site. I am currently looking for one person per position, but more may be added for the staffing positions depending on the site's growth. As things are now, I hope to have partners who will actively help with the site's building and structure (if they are willing to help me out with that before moving onto their own staff duties).

I also welcome staff members who have their own ideas to implement into the overall structure of the site. Want to make suggestions for better systems or graphics or whatever? Ears are wide open to listen.
