i finally finished my first skin.

putting it online feels shameful.

but it's not like i have a use for it anymore so /dies

also also seriously would like to thank my friends who bullied encouraged me into finishing it ;o; and also how they whipped the design of it into shape or otherwise it'd look even more like it was coded 10 years ago hahaHAhaHAHAHA i'm not touching code for weeks now am i

I just crowned Kaeya and Zhongli is next and I've never felt more judged in my chat, lol.

Judge me all you want - I make bad decisions in life, what makes you think I wouldn't in vidya.
excuse them!! kaeya is such an underrated character. i don't usually like sword users because they're slower than spears but for kaeya? with his never-ending ult and his e??? all i see is dmg yO

,,,also i crowned zhongli first for all his talents and was kinda judged for it too ;; (since support ig)

but

who doesn't like 3k with every hit... on a spear user... without a cheat 5* weapon? and he has the quickest atk spd iirc? hnggg definitely not simping after his atk animation no sirree.

by the third year if people are still playing -- yeah, generic dialogues aren't the focus anymore i think, which makes it all the more important that the first few years' of dialogues aren't so bland(when most peeps are still playing). rf4 did it best - since everything is almost finished at year 1 or 2, a whole year of unique dialogues? dayum. at the 3rd year point maybe it's just progressing with marriage and money making and being a completionist anw. i remember my dad playing just to want to get like, 100 million or something lmfao.

but again yes i do understand your point, so sometimes i also wish they delay again rather than release it as it is. graphics wise, i loved rf4 despite it because it actually allowed quicker load times, but this time they're probably not used to handling 3d again, what with a new team and a new studio, and then yep, quarantine. (RF Frontier dope tho)

im grateful the series is even alive tbh!! give them time give them time.

say rip to the last remnant.

it has a unique gameplay but also kind of cumbersome. but the ost's super good, i loved all of the characters (even the frog), and i think i even memorized the general geography of the world map when i don't even memorize my own country's (screw me). too bad it wasn't received well because, again, performance issues(now fixed(?)), and... well, it wasn't received well in general ig.

but again the ost's godlike. the battle theme changes according to your morale!!! and also i liked how i could tell how a specific track in ffxiv just felt different(twin adder's theme, beast mount theme) that it made me check the composer and, yeap. it's him!! felt like salvaging TLR gold.

also i would have liked to see rush and david together for a bit more pls.

it wouldn't be much of a confession if it's a popular opinion so (y)! x3 but yes if you find it nice enough, then that's good!! i wish i wasn't so stuck up with the quality so i can enjoy things more, but from what i read it seems that it's just not as 'smooth' as they were in the older games. that, and festivals + dialogues are... subpar, so that worries me too.

but they're actually working on the qol fixes rather than just ignoring them all so good for them! i'll hold on for the final-final fix, though, since it's also a concern of mine when both series are now releasing unpolished games(as per reviews)...

gotta hold on to the money as blackmail ha ha ha.

- i hope RF5 turns out nice, because SoS was a letdown.
^ i agree

sos lags like crazy as if the graphics weren't ready for the switch & im still bitter about them getting rid of characters' cute little artwork when you talk to them ;-; also the whole crafting situation felt like they tried to make it take more time so you'd play longer but really all i wanted was some lumber and i had to wait however long for just 1

RF5 will hopefully be good. RF4 had such great characters leon, dylas, dolce
preaaach! it's such a bummer when i didn't think farming games would have so many performance issues? maybe there /are/ things that i've underestimated, but when the other games are such gems while SoS and RF5 now are... like this... what happened? ):

I've heard how RF5 isn't as 'lively' as RF4 too - towns are frequently empty as villagers stick to their own select locations, villagers no longer have new things to say for one whole year - which makes me, iunno, i'll wait to buy it until they fix the fps issues at least... i'll give them chance!!!

maybe the best games in the series will be the next few ones, haha.

or natsume actually innovates and comes out the winner

i had to think really hard on why/how i was exposed until i remembered i posted/liked posts about the fanfest stream oops.

i don't have much time to join another rp so.. i don't think i'm the target audience ;o;/ but if it's my preferences then i'm the kind who prefers an original setting - because it feels more like i can take more liberty in the world if that makes any sense. with canons... eh, even if it's allowed that i can do x and y, i wouldn't feel right to do it. would always feel like i'm going against the writers' intent(that they haven't revealed yet and such). for a private rp, sure, but for a forum rp that's public ... not my thing i think!

so yes, ffxiv-inspired or AU would be cool. particularly since no one would be shamed for not having caught up with the latest patch and stuff like that, and how a canon-rp would just be a glorified "forum reacts to latest patch!" site. could do an AU where more people had the echo, leading to a different kind of society, people abusing it, people worshipping/founding a whole new religion on it, ... i'd say more but i'm out of brain juice x.x

the smaller details:

  • fcs - i don't think i mind since it's people's characters, not mine!
  • jcink highly preferable because Reasons
  • prefer inspired > original/AU plot - easier to be inclusive, follow, go cray, etc.

tldr i will defer to other people :eyes:

oh ye! i did try that game before! it's cute but just not quite the same... DD's more fast paced and... stressful, I guess? But then again there's a lot more mechanics in Delicious... I'll look into heart's medicine, thank u! beggars can't be choosers ;;
Oh later Delicious games have difficulty options if that interests you? Some of them get really tough to 3-star, but yeah, Diner Dash was definitely more different. I miss it too tbh.
o? okay if it's harder then there should be enough challenge!! now here's hoping i can endure the cheesy stories ... /breathes

- lately ive been wanting to play games like... diner dash... but not on mobile? i couldn't pay for those games back then but i can now! but where are theyyy

Check out GameHouse games like Heart's Medicine or Delicious - Emily's games etc on Steam. They're literally Diner Dash-like games but with cheesy stories that can be completed in like 8-12 hrs each.
