As someone watching the Apothecary Diaries (this is my what are you watching LOL) and reading a lot of court/harem manhua in the past, I'd be totally down for it.

Now thinking on this. My mom always agreed with me that the song 'I Get Knocked Down' had the lyrics of kissing the night away. I was in my late teens until I realized that was not what they were saying.

Mmm, FFXIV players getting some good stuff. But... the one area of the expansion... still gets me LOL

As someone that lives near Chicago and goes to San Diego every other year, this got a good chuckle out of me lol

Even though I know one ran a while back, a mabinogi site would be awesome. But that's me saying this as I am nostolgia playing it right now (and... it's getting updated to UE5 at some point too lol).

First post of 2024. Yay!

First random thought of 2024 - fuck I'm tired. And I don't wanna deal with shit.

Even though some people may already be in 2024 - this is my last post of 2023 3 minutes before 2024 lol

Sometimes for things I don't want to do or need more time to think on - I give myself internal deadlines. I have something that's going to make quite a bit of people unhappy, but what's happening is starting to feel more like a chore than something I enjoy. 

High chance my mind won't change, but when that's happening - it's time to let it go. It's making me tired, irritable and not worth losing my sanity over.

Happy Holidays everyone! Things that went well for me are below. Woo!

1. First thing to start off the year, I got promoted! Ended up becoming a manager for the accounting department I work for. Oddly, I have a mix of more, but less work to do while getting paid more. I expect that to pick up more next year though as I take on new projects.

2. We finally had our wedding reception this year. Hubs and I did technically get married legally in 2022 (after COVID ruined our plans in 2020 and held off). Everyone's still talking about it since September. So, I'm very much happy it went off without much issue.

3. Kind of going with the last one, it's still contingent but we have an offer accepted on a house. \ o / Look at us adulting. We want a dog - very, very soon please.

4. Ended up making a lot of new friends while still staying connected with old ones.

5. Started to do more drawing again this year, which has helped me immensely when getting commissions for my D&D characters. I even had one thank me for at least giving something when it comes to more original characters instead. (While they like doing the FFXIV ones, I apparently give them some room to flex LOL)

6. Learned my limits on what I can handle and what I can't. Sounds like a weird one, but as someone that has a hard time saying no - I learned to say enough is enough now.

7. I had a clean bill of health this year outside of needing to take some supplements. Had a scare with my thyroid until I was told it was just enlarged but no underlying health issue with it!

I personally still enjoy the animanga community for a few reasons. I won't go into being too big of details for each since they are pretty self explanatory.

1) I started with animanga RP forums. I just remember mine was original a Zelda one in the wild, wild west of early proboards.

2) I honestly feel awkward using RL pictures. Part of me just feels weird using another person's face to roleplay and another is that... who knows their reputation and how it's going to go. At least with animanga, regardless of what happens, I don't feel like I'm impersonating an actual real life person. And honestly, I don't know how these people would feel if they found out.

3) I agree that I enjoy the much smaller community, for good and bad. It helps me stay more interconnected.


I just realized two is probably the primary reason I never move off from animanga/illustration/video games. LOL

Playing the mediator sucks sometimes. It's a thankless job that sometimes I feel like people don't get enough credit for in friend groups.

I was so close until the admin just up and shut down the site. partner and I tried over discord but timezone/partner's discomfort with discord stopped it. *cries*

Somehow... I ended up planning the christmas party for work. Dis weird.
