My favorite Dev challenges have got to be: 


1. This or thats - You're given a scenario where you have to choose one or the other and no in between. It makes it really fun dividing my characters

2. Aesthetics - I live for aesthetics. They help visualize a character's vibe for me, whether its just typing up those aesthetics or doing moodboards for them. 

3. Lyrics - LYRICS THAT FIT MY CHARACTER, But not necessarily the full song !! 

4. Outfit shares - Finding fanart or creating outfits for your character that aren't necessarily their "normal" outfits are really fun. 

There should be a fine line between your community seeing you as staff and seeing you as a member. However I think this varies between communities, as not every one is the same. From the ones I've been staff on, it's a huge fear for me that people will take what I say in DMs when I'm technically "off the clock" and not trying to approach someone about apps or such, as something else. There needs to be a line between the two but there shouldn't be an issue with you running your community and also trying to take part in it, as its a place that YOU created. So why shouldn't you enjoy it? Like yeah, I made this event and I might know what's going to happen but I'm still going to have my characters to participate because I want to have fun. Because I am helping moderate that community to have fun in. 

Ultimately, its up to people and how they want to run their communities, but I don't think you shouldn't be allowed to have fun in a space that you created not just for yourself but for other people. 

My highest right now is about to be 400! I've never stuck around on a place this long to have one for that long so it's really cool.

I am having the worst depression episode of my life and I kind of have to reevaluate how much i'm doing per day with threads and such. What stuff sparks joy and what doesn't. It's never wrong to ask someone to drop a thread because you're trudging through it!

I usually just redo the same blorbos here and there. With canons I have my very few that I cannot part with whatsoever (kazuha, tighnari, Sou hiyori to name a few) but there might be some canons I want to try that might just be fleeting. Like I could have them for a month and decide I don't vibe well or the voice isn't loud in my head OR I love writing them and they're now a new forever muse. It's so funny to me, because I've tried apping some characters and have dropped them day one, week one, etc. just because apping them was fun but I can't get the voice right. 


When it comes to OCs I do tend to use the same ones that I had from when I was a teenager. Cause I've made a few over the years and have grown attached to them. And they're supposed to be super malleable like I can turn them into whatever I want. I happen to have a pokemon OC that has gone from being a top ace trainer all the way to a guy who just struggles with depression and catches cute pokemon to help him cope. Like, my ideas can be all over the place. I will normally consider Want Ads when I'm really comfortable with the site or just the people playing in general. It feels weird to fill in the shoes of someone like a family member they're looking for, especially if its not exactly like they imagined. I'd had to disappoint like that.
