Quick OOC update here to avoid taking away from my in-plot writing. Everything above this post is all present knowledge I have written for the Umbra & available groups. There maybe updates to this, but I am hoping to quote/spoiler should that come since nothing is in stone quite yet. I figured I would check the reception to the ideas I have.

Anyways, thank you for anyone patiently waiting for updates and support. <3 I am still planning to hopefully make Umbra, I have just been slow due to external reasons.

Man, being that sick that all you can do is watch TV, sleep and maybe eat sucks. I just had no energy to game or do something engaging. Which is weird, cause I messaged people and had conversations, but otherwise, I swam through sick and now consider myself a zombie.

That awkward moment where you wake up cause your stomach is rude and decide to play a Gacha (reverse: 1999 in this case) and get back to back 6 stars. Well, game, I will take my Lilya portrayal and my Druvis and be quite content.

I am fine with both mediums as I believe both have their benefits and boons. I think discord-less sites oddly have a greater sense of community a majority of the time as people are usually using private messages & plotters to plot. Allowing for no interruptions and a more direct experience. It also, at least for me, has a really relaxing environment since I won't be hearing notifications popping off.

That being said, nowadays, I prefer Discord-ed sites. I like being tagged to all my threads in one convenient place since usually I am on more than one site. Furthermore, a nice tagging channel lets me order all my replies since I tend to reply in the order I receive them. These are positives I can benefit from, since despite my earlier compliments to Discord-less, I really struggle with anxiety and insecurity. I can write whole plotter ideas, then delete them believing nobody could ever like my idea. I feel Discord can act as a ground to help me step into a community without overwhelming or overthinking things about people. It gives me an odd umbrella of comfort since I can go to different channels, participate in conversations I decide to and integrate into the community; which in turn gives me enough confidence to say "You know what? X is really nice and I really want to plot with them and have an idea for something."

Thus, for me it is more of an 'I know what I'm like' thing. While this does not always work, I just find Discord, even if I don't communicate much with the community, better for myself since I can organize.

It is such a big part of my life, it is harder not to in complete honesty. I love writing and I want to be an author. For me, if someone is unwilling to accept that side of me, they don't deserve my time. Hence I would rather mention it sooner than later because writing means the world to me and is a coping mechanism for me. That being said, I don't always introduce it as RP, I usually introduce it in writing, but do occasionally exchange the words.

And on this day, I managed to somehow hurt myself and bleed while breaking apart a chocolate bar. I am confused, humoured and pained since chocolate scraped into my nail and lifted it. I really don’t know how I managed this.
