no I just forget about them for like two weeks and then get jumpscared by 20 emails

I have very fond memories of email notification back when yahoo messenger was a thing. Nothing made me happier than seeing “topic reply subscription” pop up in the bottom right of my screen as that means i have a mod update to reply to…

I think I mainly never turned them on because I never figured out how to. I was like 12 or so when I actually got an email address of my own (so -counts on fingers- 13 years ago?). I was never on IMs because my parents were protective of little ol’ me. I didn’t actually get into RP until I was about 14 (it was a dead Fairy Tail forumotion site lol) and once I got active on proboards I enjoyed the surprise of refreshing a page and getting a tag notification
