Generally, I'm a "music first, lyrics second" person, where what ultimately determines if I like a song is the quality of the instrumentals/vocals themselves, and nice lyrics is just icing on top of the cake. It's near impossible to get me to like a song that I adore the lyrics to if I think the backing music and/or singer is bad.

Interestingly, then, despite this, I find myself liking this song more and more as I listen to it, despite the fact that (although not bad), the background music's kinda... lackluster? I just really love the lyrics (which aren't even!!! that impressive!!!!!), though, and it keeps me coming back, and I literally couldn't tell you why. *shrugs into the abyss*

Aw, well, it's about time I listen to something else on repeat for a couple days, might as well be non-Mindcrime Queensryche.
