Hey all!

A few months ago I chose to leave the rp site I'd been at for 2-3 years (closer to 8 if you include its predecessors) due to personal reasons. Since leaving, I'm not quite ready to join another place yet but I have slowly been browsing just to get a sense of what's available. I've mainly been using affiliates, but I've noticed that across different sites they're sometimes a little out of date and not as reliable as my (admittedly probably rose tinted) memory seems to remember them being back in 2016 when I last properly did a site search.

SO I was wondering where people tend to go to look for sites nowadays. Obviously Pixel has a very good resource in the form of its affiliate section and interest checks and I've also seen that there are some discord groups that host links to forums and other sites. Are there any other methods I'm missing or maybe might not be aware of because I've been out of the pool for a while? What are your favourite places to check?

maybe wallace being my fav was foreshadowing
usually, my friends just link me sites. half the time, it's, "woah, look at this skin!" or "woah, look at this!" in general. the other half, i stumble upon it through pure sheer coincidence, like tripping over my dog and knocking down the plaster wall and tumbling down a hole and i find an affiliate button under a time capsule i cracked with my head.

You could check out animangads in my signature, I checked affiliates recently for activity so the sites there should at least have a pulse.

I sometimes look through ad sections but I pretty much go here or on animangads when I'm looking for new sites. I refuse to do rl rp and no other space is quite as thorough about differentiating animanga/illustrated and rl.
