Lucas Hathorne's done many things in the name of a holy war. it's always incredibly satisfying to see members excited and having a good time with an event, especially when it's one you've poured a lot of time, energy, effort, and priorities into. it's just day one but the pay-off thus far is pretty damn great.

Besides, there is nothing Akari would dare choose over her family. She'd attempted to once, and look what she intends to do now—duty or freedom? Lineage or aspiration? future me will hate the decision making thought process that lead to "the only way i'm going to survive doing this midterm essay due tomorrow at 5pm is by drinking an entire bottle of cheap and shitty vodka mule at 1am-3am while binging this paper on a google docs" but seeing as im halfway through my essay now idt i can complain

on a tangential note -- been looking back @ the shades of magic series since im using it for my thesis and i rlly wanna see a site based on that world. parallel universes that's more based on fantasy than science, one parallel world is our real one, the other is prospering w/ magic and innovation, the other is dying, and the other is already dead. it could be rlly neat and the aesthetics are def something that'd be fun to see

finally played cyberpunk red again after me and my friends spent months playing witcher and its damn good to be back

only in cpr can i play an annoying sniper journalist on wheelies that annoys the heavily armed guard pursuing him by skating back and forth throughout the whole map and forcing him to always run for his action instead of shoot at me

not my last post but one of my recent ones, this particular passage had been something living in my head rent-free despite my current love/hate relationship w/ my writing and style as of late

"I see many things for myself," is the instinctive reply that rings forth, immediate as an quieter argument, before stifling itself to a simmer. She knows the expression that crosses his face, however brief. She says nothing of it. "That does not mean I'm willing to gamble whatever future my clan may have on the hope that the scholars and geniuses people remember include daughters."

God I loved Kiznaiver!! This would be a really cool concept.

I also just really miss superpower themed sites or just abilities-themed. I remember writing on something that had the concept of Sky High before Boku no Hero was even a thing. Psychic abilities and experimentation?? Throw in a little Stranger Things, Orphan Black, or Umbrella Academy for inspo— overall just interested in non-magical powers and secret scientific research.
god i’d love to see a superpowers themed site, especially if its involving government conspiracies and scientific research. something reminiscent of, like, x-men, the boys, or the bright sessions too. it would be rlly fun.
