I'M slowly but surely working on a skin for a site I'm on, but I'm stuck on the banner? I'd like to do 1 of 2 things, but I'm not sure which method is more idiot proof, because I'm ambitious but also stupid when it comes to coding?

I'd love to have a cool banner where you click a left or right arrow to scroll through the links and info, preferrably with Welcome, Links, Staff, and credits? I'm just not sure HOW that's done? I've looked all over for some tutorial but I can't actually find anything...

OKAY SO. I've got a Borderlands roleplay in the works, and I'd really love to get a full skin made for it, I have a few ideas for the look and feel that I'd like to have, colors and a general idea for fonts, but I'm also open to ideas to make it readable and accessible, I'm an incredibly flexible person as far as artistic liberty goes!

I'm not 100% ready to commit YET, I mostly would like to get some quote so I know how much to put back from my paychecks in order to make it happen, a price range would be really nice!

Platform: The forum is going to be hosted on Jcink

Forum Theme: Borderlands, but not strictly Pandora, it's going to be a post BL3 forum so the setting will have more than just Pandora

Color Scheme & Fonts:  This Old Forum has all the colors and fonts that I'd like to use, I'm also open to different fonts, but most of them are based on menu and UI fonts and I'd like to stay in that range!

Layout and Overall Look & Feel: So like I said, I'd really like to base this skin heavily on the UI of the Borderlands games, not any one game in the series specifically, just the universal look of them, I am really partial to the first and second game's UI for this particular project though! Do you ever see an unpopular RP opinion(completely different website not here) that makes you so mad you feel it physically? I need to calm down before I say some things I regret and start a fight.

I know it takes time and I can wait patiently, but I cannot WAIT for Proboards V6 to come out, I'm eager to see all the new features and play with them, I'm eager to see all the pretty new skins people come out with, there's been such a dry spell for new premades, and I wanna dabble in making them too, but also like I don't wanna commit to building a skin if it's gonna become obsolete!

I have a couple of site ideas and I can't decide which one might be the most viable/interesting in the long run? Both are really solid and I feel like both would be fun, but I wanna see what sounds the best to the general population, even if you don't intend of joining, which one sounds good to you?

SITE 1
A site taking place in Ashland, Oregon, specifically this would essentially be a Coraline based roleplay. I'm imagining this one as following the ideas laid out in This Theory, where the Other World is a living entity Eldritch pocket dimension, who's magic leaks into the real world. The town is like a liminal space, like when you think you see something out of the corner of your eye then look and everything is normal.

This idea is basically going to be a small town slice of life with undertones of supernatural occurrences, based in the setting of Coraline, but maybe with a tough of Gravity Falls and wtnv. Everyone who lives there is weird and life is pleasant, as long as you ignore the disappearances.

That's what I have for it so far, there'll be a lot more too it, but this is the jist.
- Animated face claims, likely pulled from western animation and such.
- Probably set a few years after the actual movie.

SITE 2
This is pretty short, sweet, and to the point. This will basically be a Monsters Inc. roleplay, predominantly set around Monsters University. Likely going to be MUCH more slice of life, but with the general weirdness of this being SOL in a world dominated by monsters. The forum will be a sort of canon divergent setting where the implication is that the monsters never moved beyond using scream energy, and thus still learn to be scary.

I'm iffy on whether canon characters will be allowed? Either way I feel like this could be a pretty fun little take on a slice of life college town setting. Plus monsters.
- Probably gonna go with no face claims or images from the movie, you can either describe your character, pull a BG character from EITHER film and use aesthetic images, or draw them.

I proposed this elsewhere but like man, I re-watched Monsters University(the Pixar movie) and that would make SUCH A FUN SETTING for an RP. Maybe a pre-reform setting where they still use screams instead of laughter, semi-canon? There's so much fun stuff to play with in that setting, and lots of fun BG characters to play with...PLEASE someone put this together, lemme help! I'd love to help! IDK how to code or anything but man I'd love to see this happen!
