Awww sad no animals that'd be half the draw of an animal crossing inspired RP for me, but still a cute idea and I might check it out regardless!

Bumping this! I'm currently plucking away at the site but haven't written any info yet, so if anyone has any ideas/suggestions let me know!

I figured I'd maybe put a thread up for this and see if anyone else maybe even thought the idea was worth pursuing? It's alright if you want to maybe post even if you wouldn't necessarily join! I'd like to hear some input or some things people might WANT! Also I apologize for this thread not having fancy coding...IDK if that's a turn off for people...

The basics I have decided:
- Mostly western animation focused, but Ghibli films will also be allowed! Looking at Disney/Pixar, Dreamworks, honestly like I wanna make it relatively open with only a few exclusions. Might also allow video game characters?
- Jcink hosted, probably gonna use a pre-made skin until I can commission one because I don't know how to code from scratch...
- No activity checks and no word count, quality over quantity, that sort of shindig
- Probably no really heavy site-wide plots, mostly story and individual driven, drama can still happen because y'know DUH VILLAINS, but like unless people WANT an overarching plot, it's mostly gonna focus on the slice of life shenanigans that comes from such a diversity of characters interacting.
- Fantastical modern kind of setting, like, probably something along the lines of what we've seen in the trailers for the Pixar film 'Onward', heavily fantasy but modernized. Probably going to focus on one very large city since spreading everything out over too large a place is always messy.
- Canon characters only, encouraged to put your own spin on them, build their own relationships, you don't have to adhere to canon relationships. There isn't some premise of them being sucked into this world from their own, it's as if they've always lived there.

That's the basic ideas I have as of right now, I'm open to hearing what other people might want!

Kind of feeling the urge for just a good wholesome slice of life panfandom, maybe focusing on Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks...I feel like maybe I'd wanna have it be mostly Western properties, there's a lot of panfandoms undoubtedly dominated by anime, I'd love to get my Disney buffs together /eyes

Ideally:
- No strict word count or activity requirements, just real laid back and easy to manage.
- Probably set in a small city or maybe a university or college setting or maybe both, no extreme bells and whistles, the characters have just always lived there like that.
- Probably set up like a modernized fantasy, kind of like the set up of the upcoming movie Onwards has? Where it's fantastical but also set in a modernized world!

Would anyone even WANT a site that was this laid back and simplistic? IDK, maybe it's just me, I feel like having such a diverse collection of characters would make up for the simplistic plot and premise. I'd love to see some of the fun interactions that could come from it, it wouldn't be devoid of conflict, after all villains gonna villain right? But it's just a kind of soft and wholesome idea I've been poking at.

I recently watched Monsters Inc. and Monsters University again and I feel like there's an untapped world there that could be super fun to play with as an RP setting, even JUST the University aspect would be super fun? IDK how it would work since animanga/real life face claims wouldn't work and no one would go for one with art/descriptions BUT the idea is fun!

Honestly PLEASE. I'm not a super hero aficionado but I LOOOOVED teen Titans, and I'd love the chance to play the Beast Boy from this series specifically.

Dragon age roleplay except it's focused mostly on Dalish elves? IDK I'm still hashing out ideas, I just think the Dalish are neat! Maybe focus it on a few clans and let people create their own? I'm imagining slice of life out in the wilds with a touch of inter-clan politics, probably some drama between rivaling clans too? IDK....Think warrior cats RP but like Dalish elves?

I'm always in the mood for slice of life fun! I've been hankering for a more fantasy based slice of life too, so that idea appeals to me SO MUCH. I'd love one that isn't restricted to human races tbh...Like a slice of life with cool DND-esque fantasy races? I don't think I've ever seen one of those...

Though that's just my own personal things, I'd honestly be happy for any easygoing slice of life sites
