Hey, want to join my gay hivemind?
Dog RP set in one of these locations:
Abandoned shopping mall(think like mall of america massive)
Long abandoned town(centralia maybe? Or chernobyl? Or maybe Hashima?)

IDK, I like the thought of dogs taking over some abandoned human thing, Centralia or Chernobyl is very tempting, but there's a lot of abandoned human things that might be fun to throw packs of dogs into...

Or warrior cats...Warrior cats set in an abandoned human thing could also be fun...

A human+stray dog roleplay set during a zombie outbreak, you have dogs fighting for survival and forming packs and hierarchy on one side, while you also have humans struggling to survive, with the backdrop of zombies everywhere, not necessarily a dog versus humans, more like both are available to play with, IDK I always thought the idea of a stray dog rp where you can also play humans was interesting

Hey, want to join my gay hivemind?
i'm throwing this here but technically I'm already actively working on the site? I just want to gauge how much interest there actually IS for this idea in general!

The premise is a How to Train Your Dragon roleplay that starts off a handful of months after the first movie, as far as the plot goes, ONLY the first film is canon to the site. We're a canon & OC site where the course of the story is largely up to the players? The example I always use is, if someone wanted to play stoic and eventually kill him REALLY EARLY ON, theoretically they could do so. Big plot events and ideas would still need to be run by staff so nothing too catastrophic happens too soon, but for the most part it's very alternate timeline au.
- We'll be really relaxed, instead of official activity checks we'll do monthly roll calls where you only have to give us a heads up that you're around and notify us of any characters you want to drop.
- No word counts, quality over quantity!
- LGBT+ absolutely welcome, I'm a trans gay dude, I'm playing Hiccup as a trans guy, I absolutely love lgbt headcanons and wholly embrace them!
- You can play dragons! Dragons can't speak to humans but they CAN speak to other dragons!
- There will be a lot of canons open, just about all of the main crew, and we welcome characters from all three films and the series!
- Jcink hosted! I'm using a pre-made skin but would like to commission one if the site ends up getting traction!
- We'll be premium, but it'll largely still be fade to black as far as the sexings goes, violence is pretty much free game though with warnings!

I really just want a fun and relaxed httyd roleplay where people can explore potential plotlines and stories without canon breathing down their necks!

Hey, want to join my gay hivemind?
OKAY SO apologies for my terrible terrible wording on the title? What I'm trying to figure out is how to set a default posting template, I've seen some sites have it so that when you wrap your post in [post] words[/*post] it'll style it automatically? Like it'll add a specific color to bolded and italicized font and close it up in a nice and neat box? How does one do that?

I'm specifically asking for Jcink, I don't want to do anything fancy, I just want for the post tag to close it in a neat div box with the post all neat and justified? But I'm not sure how people set that! Any help would be awesome!

So I'm mostly just popping in to offer an idea for the face claim situation! You could always have it so that races/characters that are harder to find face claims for can use aesthetic images and a written description instead? I've seen that method employed super effectively before for people who either can't find a proper face claim or don't feel comfortable using one, it's a nice way to open up to the amount of races you want available without being jarring or sticking to the default images! Just a bit of food for thought!

hey there roswell! i staff at ephemeris, an animated panfandom site! we have characters from a variety of mediums, from anime to video games to comics to regular animated shows. we'd love to have varian on site! the only real restriction is age; i'm not sure how old he is, he'd just have to be 16 on site. if he's a little younger you're free to just age him up though!
we do have a fair bit of lore, but it's set up in such a way that you can kind of learn as you go, especially if varian is new to the setting, so hopefully that would be a possibility for you! i've been planning on watching the tangled series soon (bc tangled is my favorite) and all the characters look so fun! whatever the case, i hope you find a good site for you! <3

AHHHHH gonna check this out! Also the age thing isn't a problem, Varian is 16-17 by the end of the series so he'd fit in fine! Thanks for posting!(also yes watch TTS it's so good)

That's okay! It's honestly just nice to know my wild ass idea isn't completely dumb hehe, still chipping away on all the information!

- It's gonna be hosted on Jcink, I just really like the features Jcink has(sub accounts are drool worthy)
- Mixed face claims? IDK, I'm going to allow photos and drawn art or aesthetic images and written descriptions.
- I'm using a pre-made skin because I don't have any coding experience, especially not with Jcink, I'd like to buy a skin commission or pre-made at some point but I can't right this second.

Hey, want to join my gay hivemind?
HEY! Glad to be the push! I have answers to these questions!

1.) Definitely, aside from the average magic(like elemental and other more basic magic), Starclan will probably also "bless" devout believers, and likewise punish those who don't. I have an entire Kingdom who's whole thing is being non-believers, I haven't entirely figured out the kinds of blessings and curses I'd like, or what sorts of magical disasters I want to have present. BUT. Starclan is definitely going to be a much more present force in the world, and probably a lot less detached when cats need guidance.

2.) Oh man I actually ADORE this idea? It would make it so that people with non-warriors could just have normal names, I'm liking the idea of names like:
"Name of the Suffix" for warriors
"Name of the Paw" For Squires/apprentices
"King Name of the Star" for Leaders
Something like that, civilians wouldn't need these special titles, but ranks within the higher circle of the leaders would have them! NICE IDEA THANK YOU!

3.) I'm not decided yet if I want to fudge with stats, if I DO they're going to be really simple as I'm not a fan of super complex stats and systems. I know for sure I want to employ DND style spell slots for magic, IE maybe you get three slots per thread, then you have cantrips that can be used freely? But other than THAT I don't know how much I'm gonna focus on stats, since I'd like this to be mostly story based more-so than a stats based site!

I've got ideas for three of the four Kingdoms, most of which will have all the higher ranks open, two are going to have the leader roles Pre-filled for the sake of having things semi rolling when we open, but otherwise all roles will be open starting out!

I'm definitely happy to hear whatever other thoughts you might have! Thanks so much for the input!

Hey, want to join my gay hivemind?
So I posted this up in the QICs to see what was thought of it, figured I'd post an official thread to gauge interest and ideas!

The site is going to be called Leoris, as that's also what the world they live in is going to be called.
- The site is functionally based off of the Warrior Cats series, there will be several things it shares with the books and the lore of them, but I'm designing it so that you don't need to have read the books to understand the site.
- Replacing the "clans" will be four kingdoms, will villages and towns and castles, the whole shebang. The heiarchy will still be pretty similar to the books: Leader(King), Deputy(Advisor), Medicine Cat(Court Mage), Warriors, Apprentices(Squires?), and so on. I'm probably going to add in some special roles for messengers as well to relay information between kingdoms, as well as a citizen type role to cats that reside in the kingdom but don't fight and fill in civilian jobs. Functionally the higher ranks will be the same though.
- Starclan still exists, but rather than being backseat drivers they're more or less the source of the magic in the lands, they still guide medicine cats and the kingdoms with prophecies and signs, but they're also the reason cats are born with magic at all.
- I'm still kind of unsure if I want to have Kingdom cats still use the naming conventions with the prefixsuffix name style, rogues and cats outside of the kingdoms wont have to adhere to it regardless. I'd love input on this!
- DND style classes: Bards, fighters, monks, barbarians, wizards, etc., you wont HAVE to put your character into a class since they can just be a normal civilian, but they'll be there for spice!
- Kingdoms will each control a territory, but it's less a 'cross the border you die' and more just a 'cross the border and respect our rules' kind of situation, there is a shaky peace but always room for drama and political strife depending on the leaders and their goals.
- I'm still kind of sussing out what I want the overall plot to be besides the kingdoms and their shaky truce, but there will be periodic smaller plots like famines, diseases, harsh winters, etc.
- Cats will function in a zootopia-esque sort of way, mostly quadrupedal but they can comfortably be on their hind legs as well to work and get around. They'll be able to use complex and advanced tools as well as wear armor and clothing, very much a semi-anthropomorphic world.
- Will be very relaxed, no activity checks or word counts, the only activity requirements will be some light ones for higher ranks(leaders, deputies, medicine cats), which will probably be one post a month for that character? IDK, I don't want this place to feel like a chore.

As always I am 100% open to ideas and things people might like to see in this setting! I'm still very much in the planning stages, so things can change and be tweaked!

Hey, want to join my gay hivemind?
A warrior cats esque site that's high fantasy/DND inspired.

- Would be relaxed, no wc/activity requirements (except MAYBE light ones for high ranks?)
- Cats can have different classes like: bards, barbarian, wizard, rogue, etc. Very DND like.
- Cats are functionally still CATS but operate more on a Zootopia style of anthropomorphic behavior: can at least sort of stank bipedal, paws can be used like hands, can wield weapons and use tools, wear armor and clothing, build shelters.
- Classic four clan faction system, except each 'clan' is instead a kingdom with the leader being given 9 lives by starclan still. Functionally the same as clan heiarchy but perhaps with some additional ranks.
- Very medieval vibe, but maybe give it some steampunky flair because aesthetic.

This is what I got so far but I'm curious if this is an idea people would go for? I've been wanting a warrior cats to that's got some SPICE to it, and I feel like there's potential in the genre that I've never seen explored!

Hey, want to join my gay hivemind?
I'm not super up to date on panfandoms as of late, so IDK what's new and what's around, hence me making a thread being like THROW 'EM AT ME.

The long and short of this is that I'd REALLY like to play Varian, from the Tangled series that just recently ended(the little dude in my hover), which everyone should go watch because it's VERY GOOD. But I digress. I'd really like to roleplay him, because I've done it a bit before and I always have a lot of fun, but like also now that the series is over I'm not flailing around blindly as far as his story goes...SO...Throw me your panfandoms!

I'd prefer if I'm not literally the only person RPing a non-anime character, that's probably the most awkward and demeaning feeling because it just leaves me feeling like I'm being judged. Anime characters existing is fine, I just don't want to be the only one NOT playing one.

I'm not fussed on the setting but I'd rather not have to chug through a million piles of lore and information, I'm mostly interested in just jumping in and getting started asap, the longer I have to spend reading through required threads the more my attention span zones out. I love your lore! I just can't parse it when there's so much!

I GUESS I could dip my toes into a personified site? But I have no idea who would even work as a face claim for Varian, if you can help me find one though I'd be more than open to taking a look, I'm picky when it comes to real life faces though...Just as a forewarning ^^;

I'd rather the site be focused around an original setting rather than in the middle of another fandom, like Kingdom Hearts for example? Like this isn't a hard deal-breaker but it's just a preference atm! Bonus points if I can do a lot of goofy slice of life threads though!

Other than that I'm only really just looking for a fun place to RP this character!

Trying to think of ways to achieve my Ideal Forum :tm: without hitting the same old road bumps. Panfandom + original + fandom originals forum, which allows for all manner of character with no limitation (beyond, say, two people playing the same character - although potentially put in a clause that two people can play different versions of the same canon, so long as the original player gives the other the a-okay). Remove need for face claims altogether for original characters, either through heavier emphasis on appearance descriptors and/or use of aesthetic images in place of your usual avatar and icon. Want to play a native OC? That's cool. Wanna play Claude von Reigan? Excellent taste. Wanna play some mega obscure canon that only appeared in an audio drama as a side character? Go ham. Wanna play a character pulled directly off another RP site? Game. Want to play your Sonic the Hedgehog OC? Heck yeah.

No solid ideas for a plot, but something civil war-esque or heavily faction-based with lots of in fighting. Trends I see in most panfandoms tend to boil down to: a) complete sandbox, where heavily motivated/active characters are suddenly at a loss for what to do and don't naturally integrate into a laid back setting (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I've just never personally been very good without some driving plot, sfkjlhdskfjsh); or b) there's some external threat that causes all the characters getting sucked in, but doesn't end up having all that much impact on the characters when you get down to it (which, again, not necessarily a problem, but it goes back to the first part parenthetical). Introducing character friction and groups that appeal to certain ideals can, if handled correctly, shake things up. You don't have to wait for the big site plot to find you - each character shapes the site plot. Canons can fight with their own series enemies, and now they can fight with other canons and OCs who ally themselves with opposing groups, or even with old friends/acquaintences who ended up on the opposite side because of who they are as a personal and what morals mean to them.

I just want ANGST. And the ability to play literally whatever character I WANT. Don't wanna worry about my canon character 'not being popular enough' for plots or being 'too obscure to PLAY'. Don't wanna worry about finding that Perfect Face Claim :tm: for a character who looks nothing at all like the popular animanga CLAIMS. Gimme gritty character-driven anything goes RP.
You literally just laid out everything I could ever want in a panfandom oml, I'd DIE for this to become a thing. I have characters I always want to play that never get any plots on normal panfandoms because most of them cater to anime and anime only, BUT THIS. I NEED/WANT THIS SO BADLY.
