I thought i didnt find it hard to rp it until a few years ago when a character i was trying to portray to be showing attraction was interpreted as not 💀 i thought i knew, so there was any doubt in me at that point that i wasnt ace

And im part of the spectrum that 1) didnt mind having a partner 2) wasnt sex-aversive and 3) have libido. Ace memes and even some ace folks themselves denied the entire existence of sex in the ace spectrum. Which was why it took a trusted person i met (who was ace) to enlighten me about sexual attraction vs libido, and the lovely aesthetic attraction. It’s funny bc a character i played a long time ago was someone i subconsciously played as ace and a lot of things just started making sense.

I have a whole ace agenda going now. I think knowing what im feeling is ace did help me in figuring out what sexual attraction possibly feels for others. I think of it as a mental block, not much bc im ace and cant feel it. For sure personal experience is s big part but i couldnt, for the life of me, write women (despite being afab) until i read a song of ice and fire and some internalized sexism dam just broke.

A lot of my last characters are ace and those that arent, i just dont assign a sexual preference and let them go discover it on their own.

"Why just now?"

Months ago, I came to the conclusion that the low upkeep mechanic I want, focused on writing and narrative, has to be relevant in the story. Otherwise, I felt the mechanic was too empty. It didn't feel like it actually mattered. It's obvious in hindsight - games explain their gameplay through in-character tutorials. With that, I had to reframe everything about the site. It wasn't a rework per se - almost everything mentioned here before gets to stay. But it may as well be a rework. Truthfully, a lot of the time that passed is me not working on the site. Since I'm doing this alone, I had to spend a lot of time letting the idea settle and marinate. I have to keep my frame of mind fresh and open, or I may get tunnel vision in my work.

[Terrorsverse] "Keywords" Update: 8/28/2024

✧ "Pokemon world" rework

There are 3 major locations in the Terrorsverse: Sootopolis City, Paradox Paldea, and the Pokemon world. Each of them has their own purpose, but the Pokemon world, vaguely based on the Mystery Dungeon universe, is too in-depth for something so big in a game where the table is shared among multiple writers. Basically, I don't think I should focus on the setting too hard or it won't be flexible enough for others to jump in. I've been ruminating on what to do and with the keywords now out of the way, I can focus on this rework. I already have a starting point to go with it. It's something inspired by the Pokemon Emerald Rougue mod, as I picture the Pokemon world still like the Mystery Dungeon universe but more like the dungeons itself - an ever-changing rougue-like adventure where Pokemon journey as far as they can. There would be multiple Starter Towns, kind of like bases for Pokemon. I've also become a fan of dungeon manhwas, so I kind of picture the way the Pokemon world work the same way as hunters and guilds do...

Features expected on site opening

• Keywords - Mostly finalized
• Drama Cards - Finalized, but I'll have to tinker on it again depending on the other features
• Motif - Finalized
• Pokemon Combat - Pending. Still tinkering on balance between "this is too much" and "this isn't fair"
• Aesform - Finalized
• Gate Crest - Mostly finalized
• Chrysoboros - Partially finalized; need to iron down the special moves
• Floregnosis - Partially finalized, but this is late game so I'm okay with leaving that as it is for now

Priority features after site opening

• Relevant progressions (motif, gate crest) - I want to see how the keywords play out first with the community before I decide what sort of progression we go for.

• Paradox Paldea focus
  - Time Machines
  - Dungeon raids
• Dynamic Interactive Environment - Fancy name but don't worry about this. I promise to never bring stats. This introduces a format for fighting against NPC's aka PvE, which is relevant for the features above.

- Minigames (cooking, fishing, instrument playing) because I think every RPG should keep on adding them

I'm not yet confident to unleash a discord link for interested members. But there will most definitely be a soft opening, which would provide a prequel/prologue of sort.

Pokemon Evolution: Terror S is an experience of reconcillation and discovery amidst the impact of a multiverse cataclysm conducted by the Legends of Youth and the Destroyers in the name of assuring humanity's continued survival. Dreamers, beings from the destroyed worlds of echoes, and Fables, beings from the source where the Destroyers came from, are brought together to face the mysteries of Paradox Paldea and the Pokemon world. The former being the refuge of Dreamers, and the other the home of the Legends of Youth. An uncertain partnership between people and Pokemon begins anew as the presence of Shadow Pokemon, the very tools they used to destroy worlds, encroaches upon their story.

i decided to play new world again since it seems like it's gotten way better and was thinking where to post about it so i'll just do it here since it has the class and mechanics i really love (spear, archery, cooking) and also i wanted to show off this because this is the best i get dressing up in a non-scummy mmorpg that isn't ff14 bc sea region is still being gatekeeped from having fun like the rest of the world
