SIGMAR BLESS THIS RAVAGED BODY!
I was once a type on-site gal. Until an envelope thrown across the room hit my keyboard just right, closed my browser on an absolutely monster post, and traumatized me for life. Then I moved to Google Docs. Until I had a shitty chromebook that would lag horrendously behind my typing (which I absolutely couldn't stand).

Now I use Google Keep! It's an absolute mess in there but it's safe (autosaves often), the text is nice, clean, and simple, and it's easy for me to jot down a quick thought on my phone and then elaborate or clean it up on my desktop later.

I have heaps upon heaps of notes. Most of them are just snippets of an idea, a line or two of dialogue I desperately want to jot down while it's raw in my mind, lyrics I like and may use in a post, reminders about things, vague concepts, etc. Once I start making some decent progress on any one reply though, I'll usually slap the thread title on it and "pin" it to the top of everything else. Then every couple of months or so I go through and do a (little) bit of clean-up.

I like it because all of my WIPs are right there, visible and super simple to pick up when the mood strikes to continue one.

Most of my online life, I've gone by Oakheart/Oakey. When I moved away from Warrior Cats and re-entered the RP scene after a long "getting adulthood under the thumb" hiatus, I decided I needed to change it up. Didn't make as much sense to use (plus it was kinda strange not being thrown around by the same two or three persons I'd been digitally paling around with for 10ish years).

I can't say where I pulled "Rinse" from, just that I was trying on a lot of "normal word" names and it ended up sticking. Wasn't sure about it at first but I really like it now lolol. As for "Pancakehouse", that's followed me around for over a decade, ever since I listened to Hidan playlist on 8tracks titled "THE PANCAKE HOUSE KNOWS YOU JOINED A CULT" (which also spurred a year-long obsession with Depeche Mode's "Blasphemous Rumors"). I just dug up that playlist and I'm pretty sure its whole 58 plays are 90% me listening to it over and over

My avatar is Victor Saltzpyre from Vermintide (I love him a concerning amount — why does everything you say sound like a slur, sir?). And my hover is b/c I went through a brief Clone Wars/Commander Cody phase recently. And it's hilarious.

As a kid, I didn't understand the luxury/need for naps. So when my grandma would make me take a nap with her, I thought it was a game. Like... to see who could catch the other "pretending" to be asleep?? Every minute or two I would SNAP my eyes open, see hers were closed, and just have a little private giggle to myself like "damn, she's good... but I'mma catch her slackin', just wait".

I thought every time I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep, she'd be crackin' her eyes open to try and catch me looking at her. Now I understand that bich was just sleepin'.

(BTW, I had no reason to think this — she did not have to "make" it a game for me to be quiet and let her nap or anything like that. I was just stupid lmao)

— I remember having this issue and, after a whole lot of trial and error, got it working! I think you may have poked around my testing site a bit (lmao). In case you're still having issues and haven't figured it out — I took a look at my coding and it seems that, for the User Profile specifically, I put the Points part in this coding: <div class="container show-user" style="border-top:1px solid #d8d8d8;padding-top:17px;color:"><span style="display:none;">$[user]</span>
       <span class="rinse-money-text" style="font:bold 11px Open Sans;line-height:10px;letter-spacing:.35px;padding-left:15px;text-transform:uppercase;">POINTS</span>
       <span class="money_amount" style="font:11px Open Sans;line-height:10px;margin-left:89px;"></span></div>

Maybe try adding that "container show-user" class to a parent div just for the points part and it will work? It was some very long months ago that I messed around with everything, but maybe that was what ended up working for me? Worth a try! If it doesn't work I can try and take a closer look and see if I can't remember what else I tried to get it working.

I usually leave my wallet in my car because I have zero self-control and make impulsive purchases when I see targeted ads (damn you Facebook for knowing who I am and harassing me with "silly goose university" sweatshirts) but am always too lazy to go out and get my card. It's the most effective way to save money until my car gets broken into but whatever. Not today, tho. The wallet made its way inside and now I have ordered the sickest Spike Spiegel tapestry for my bedroom (as well as a sweater with a goose wielding a knife). I am weak. ٩(˘◡˘)۶

Wowie, you're incredible! It worked and all is good now! I would have never been able to figure that out, no matter the amount of researching and studying! It would have just been me trying and failing a million different things for 2+ months whilst banging my head into my desk repeatedly. Thank you so much! You've been so helpful and a lifesaver honestly, I couldn't say how much I appreciate it. Let me just regress into a young Victorian boy for just a moment — thanks miss, you do blessed work, you do!

Bruuuuuuh, my gratitude is immense. Unfathomable. Bottomless. It worked! It made things a little janky, but I think I got everything almost back to how it was. The thing is, I tried doing just that? I looked at the same Support thread and everything and tried replacing divs with tds, eventually resetting to default, and that whole shebang. But here's the thing.... I only did it under the Post List tab. And not the Thread tab. ;v; I imagine that had to make THE difference. And is also the perfect example of me tossing things around with no real understanding of how things work lololol. Otherwise I just missed one somewhere (not very unlikely tbh).

Really, seriously, thank you soooo much!  Everything is almost perfect now, that was my biggest and most dreaded hang-up.

Except, now the sticky on the left-panel isn't working? (Super ironic, considering that's what started this thread in the first place lmaooo.) I tried putting it back in there per the instructions on your first post... even tried doing it a different couple of ways... but nothing seems to be working. The navigation bar is still fine. But when I try to add a sticky to the image in the left panel once more, not only does it not sticky, but it creates this weird space on ONLY the FIRST post in a thread/the recent post list? (Image for reference) The rest of the posts, that space isn't there, so..... weird?

But really, that's not such a big deal. I can't seem to figure it out but if it's not an easy fix, it's okay, it's not too important. You've already done like.... the eighth wonder of the world for me lmao. ;v; I thank you again and again and again and ag-

EDIT TO TRY AND (MAYBE?) BE MORE HELPFUL IDK:

snippet of Post List template where I put the sticky: <td class="left-panel" style="vertical-align:top;">

<div class="mini-sticky" id="#punishment-minn-$[post.created_by.id]">

<div class="rinse-left-panel-ext" style="background-color:#$[post.created_by.group.color]!important;">
<a href="$[post.created_by.href]" title="VISIT PROFILE">

<div class="rinse-left-panel-image" style="background-image: url('https://i.imgur.com/7E7Kcc3.png');{foreach $[post.created_by.mini_custom_field]}{if $[post.created_by.mini_custom_field.name] == "225x350 Image"}background-image:url('$[post.created_by.mini_custom_field.value]');{/if}{/foreach}background-size:cover;"></div></a>
</div>

<div class="rinse-custom-block" style="border-color:#$[post.created_by.group.color]!important;">
{if $[post.created_by.group]}<div class="rinse-custom-name" style="color:#$[post.created_by.group.color]!important;">$[post.created_by.group.name]{else}<div class="rinse-custom-name">GUEST</div>{/if}</div>

{foreach $[post.created_by.mini_custom_field]}{if $[post.created_by.mini_custom_field.name] == "OOC Name"}<div class="rinse-custom-group">PLAYED BY: $[post.created_by.mini_custom_field.value]</div>{/if}{/foreach}</div>
</div>
</td>

what is in the CSS sheet:

.rinse-left-panel-ext {width:225px;height:350px;border:1px solid @dark_background_color;margin-top:15px;margin-left:5px;background-color:@accent_color;padding:9px;}

.rinse-custom-block b { font:bold 10px Open Sans;line-height:10px;color:@text_color_faint; }

how do cats insert a single claw into ur tiddy in just the way that causes maximum damage every single time they jump on you (100% of the time, no fail). the answer, i'm almost certain, is that they do this on purpose and that it's in their blood~

Bless you a million times for the reply and suggestions, my brain is such a tomato rn ;v;

Yes, the linked site is just a test site. I double-checked what versions the plug-ins were on our actual site and they are the same. And the same exact post looks just fine there (linky). So very weird.

On the test site, I just tried deactivating the Style Tag (2.3.2) I was using and installed the (1.6.4) version, but that didn't make a difference either. I posted what you included in your reply as a post on the test site and the PTabs didn't work on either version as well. 'v'
