I'm a big advocator for smaller is better. I think 2-4 is a good start and if the site grows then it wouldn't hurt to open up for a higher threshold. Maybe start with 4 as the max? More than two require a post amount with each of those two characters before you can start on your third. That would be my suggestion!

what a great update! and I agree with your choices. Discord later is better for development purposes and personally, I don't think adding slots would be terribly necessary for the site. I mean, there are hundreds of pokemon to choose from, and even if you don't get to have the pokemon you want, doesn't mean there's nothing to choose from. It makes things more exciting I think to be able to see such a diverse amount of pokemon rather than the same pokemon. But that's just my humble opinion. Super excited for the next update, keep up the good work!

I might be the really weird one, but I’m obsessed with badges and it would be so cute to complete specific achievements to unlock awards/badges that show up on your profile.

For instance, there’s an achievement for joining/creating your first dungeon dive. You’re awarded a rope badge. Or, for joining your first event (conpletion of event mandatory except on special circumstances) and you get a cute cherry pie award/badge. Ugh idk. I’m obsessed.

I agree with everything Mellow said (but we usually share same taste in stuff). Super excited for this.

Just putting my two cents, I think it would be better to not add alien races. While the concept is cool, it might add more complexity than the site needs. If adding something detracts from the current setting and plot, then it’s best left aside. It’s something I’ve seen that has given many sites difficulty and it’s adding too much in terms of factions, races, etc. Simple sometimes is better. So I agree possibly adding it later if it works out, is better.

It's definitely a really hard line to walk. Taking in the suggestions of others to improve your site and also trying to make sure that you don't lose sight of the intended theme of the site and why you feel in love with it to even make it to begin with. Sometimes too many suggestions from others can drown out what you wanted in the beginning. I love a site with staff members who have a clear vision of where they want to direct the site and how it can correlate with the plots of their members. C:
