I'm trying to add Ionicons to the skin of my site (linked in my signature), because a lot of rather nice post templates use Ionicons. None of the members have used them yet, but I wanted to get them installed before it became a problem. However, I'm currently worried that the fact the skin uses Font Awesome is causing Ionicons to just not work?

Honestly, that's just a guess though.

Sometimes I find myself considering making a RP forum that's more like ye ol' Neopets where you just pop up a starter for whatever RP you want to do and see who joins or what happens. A forum that's not dedicated to one specific setting / RP, but just a place where you don't have to worry about apps, plots, face claims, etc. etc. There's just always something somewhere to do.

The Minata Gado usually seems like your typical gang - running extortion, smuggling, and high-interest loan rackets. However, they strive to act as the guardians of the Minato Ward. The Minato Gado goes out of their way to ensure the safety of the civilians within the ward by any means necessary. It's their territory and they don't appreciate people messing with those on their grounds. [break][break]

Should any trouble occur, a civilian must simply point out a member of the Gado and that member will move into action, ready to figure out whatever the problem may be. Their problem-solving methods do tend to be violent, though. The members of this gang are typically well received by the citizens of the Minato Ward as result, despite their criminal status. Honestly, if the civilians of Minato Ward had any say on the matter, they'd much prefer the Minato Gado over the unknown threats waiting to take their position of power at a moment's notice. Drug dealers of Minato Ward should note that the Minato Gado does not participate in any drug operations. Dealings can be done with explicit permission of the Gado. However, dealers doing business, without approval on their turf, could find themselves heavily taxed - which is just a nicer way of saying likely maimed, or eliminated.

The right hand of the King is far less outgoing and talkative as she is. The moon to her sun, he lingers in her shadows as a watchful eye - stern and silent, patient and protective. The Gakudan is the yakuza that has power well beyond that of the common gangs and criminals rushing around the streets. Intricate networks are intertwined by the Gakudan that connects all criminals together in one way or another. It's a commonly known name, but the Gakudan's shrouded in mystery aside from the general populace having passing knowledge that it exists. Or that it existed at one point, that is. The yakuza is seen as a massive web left behind by the previous spider that created it, the Third King that had been arrested during the Fall. The current leader of the Gakudan is, for the most part, unknown, outside of a specific few within it's ranks. [break][break]

The only concrete signs of activity from the Gakudan, in the eyes of heroes, civilians, and the police, seems to be from a casino in the Shibuya Ward. A common rumor drifting around about the Kake Casino is some seeing notable crime lords come and go from it a lot. Those are just rumors though, as the casino is a popular vacation spot for locals and foreigners alike. It has an expansive arcade for younger audiences to enjoy, so these rumors tend to come across as edgy words of teens trying to seem cool. [break][break]

For those on the streets, the name Gakudan has a lot more meaning. Invoking a sense of fear and respect, it's massive spread still bares it's fangs. Quietly, it looms over the streets with a chef in every crime ring's kitchen. It's unclear who might be involved with the group, so it's recommended one treads carefully. Though, there is talk of the yakuza being always open to those that seek it - offering shelter and a place to call one's own. Gakudan has no place to judge your past sins, after all.
