If I had a nickel every time someone took an ad and then turned around, made & plotted the ad with someone else instead of me, the wanted ad writer, I'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot but I'm honestly surprised people seem to do this...? Please discuss the ad you're taking to the writer or take an ad only if you're really interested in it. Not Your friend Sally who has nothing to do with it 😭

I would love to see a high fantasy type site that actually lasts. Most of the ones I've been on in the past last a year, maybe two and then fizzle out and close.

Fight monsters, guilds, magic, mix in some slice of life... I'm even willing to help build it, but experience has shown I can't do it all myself or I get burnt out ;.;

I don't normally #out myself but... if you're really interested Emerius may qualify. It's new but still going! Also while it is a Dragon Age site, you don't need to know anything about it (I have never played DA in my entire life and it is pretty flexible).

I'm getting my muse back slowly but surely and it's great!

The only hurdle to overcome is... myself. As I go onto more sites and explore, I've come to find that I really enjoy character relationships -- rivals, platonic, romance, etc. -- and the exploration that can bring via big plots. However, I can't help but feel like my characters are perhaps too "boring" for people to want to pursue? I enjoy writing big adventures but sometimes a lady just wants someone icly to say they like me and not be flanderized for it smh !!!

How do people handle their thread limits? Especially with threads that feel like a dead end?

The obvious answer is just to be honest, I know, but aaaa I always feel bad because I'm usually in need of threads... yet feel like I need to just preemptively archive ones that seem like the shared responsibility of being active was just not there.

1,500 posts on one... and I have around 1,300? I believe now with the same character on a different site.

On sites that didn't involve my immediate circle, I think I almost reached 200 posts before the site closed. When the muse hits it hits man.

I need to get better about perceptions of my writing. I get into a "it's okay" --> "oh God it's terrible, burn it all" cycle, especially when not writing in such a long time.

If anything I just need to write gdi. Imma fight myself.
