Tell me which you dread more ; the echo or the answer?
I Spend way too much time researching plant terms and other things about Plants or animals that Tighnari would know. It's so much fun playing characters way smarter than you because you tend to learn something in the process.

The weirdest was looking up carnivorous plants.

However, she knew that one wrong poke meant that it could activate, setting off one of her many explosives, so there had to be some kind of care to this, right? No, not at all, W was treating it about as nicely as one would treat a sock.

My favorite analogy

I'm so used to writing plot pages now that it's like ingrained in my blood. I always find writing the enemies/antagonistic section a lot easier than writing the others. I used to not really understand their purpose, because I came from tumblr RP where if you had an idea you just sorta threw it out into the wind or plotted it out with someone.

Do I think they're useful? Sometimes. I think they're less useful in terms of plots and more useful for lining out the personality of your character. It's easy to to tell who they'll be in a friendly setting but the antagonistic and romantic sections are always interesting to look into because I really think that's the nitty gritty of a character's personality. I personally don't post in shipper/plot pages because my ideas get really jumbled.

So yes/no I like it/don't like it.

I think where something is taken away that might be vital to your character and their portrayal!
Even in a setting for OC's I think taking away something that's important to them and making them work to retrieve it or learn to live without it is a huge high-stakes plot. Atleast in my opinion. You have to carefully pick what's okay to take away without ruining the entire character.

There's a place out there for you and me
and if it's in these maze walls
maybe, just maybe, I can be carefree.
FIND A GATE. ENTER THE MAZE. SURVIVE.

As someone who sometimes also worries that people don't enjoy our threads and that they're stringing me along just because I want it: I find opening a conversation when I feel overwhelmed by the amount of replies I need to do shouldn't be intimidating. Especially in a community, dropping a thread shouldn't be a big thing. If you aren't feeling it, you aren't.

I always do however try to offer one of two things:

  • Offer them the fact that we can call the thread finished, but plot out the ending so that you two can move onto something newer. It's okay to drop threads for this reason.
  • Thank them for their time and offer something new either with the same character or a new character.
