i can't get this idea outta my head! it's basically either a vrmmorpg or fantasy isekai setting where players don't play the "outworlders/players" but the NPCS/Natives. whether it be the sentient monsters or just your average farmer or shopkeeper. or the gate guard. or even a noble/royalty. but the added horror of like, these super powerful and unpredictable folks just popped up outta nowhere and are destabilizing everything you've ever known.

idk, i'd really love to see this wacky idea one day!

fantasy vrmmorpg, but no "trapped in an mmo" bit. let people have 9 to 5 jobs and can only raid on weekends. let the celebrities go by an alias and play the game to destress from their work. let characters rp in both the game and the real world! you can still have all the cool plots without making it a death game! hell, if you wanna have a "character "trapped" in the game" just make AI that suddenly becomes "aware" and strays off from their general coding! i know this is basically "dot hack". but since dot hack is niche af, i'd rather see this as an original setting. please, i'm begging y'all!

i always love the idea of "stuck in a vrmmorpg" for the simple fact of imagining someone choosing a funny design for "da memes" and then you get trapped in game? congrats! you're now are a 7-foot lime green-skinned troll with a bright red afro and neon pink eyes named "mister sparklefart the 3rd". have fun! :D xD

what was some of your funny/silly/dumb things you believed when you were little?

i'll go first!:

in grade school, i believed that "sayonara" was "spanish" because the first time i came across the word was in written form. i was pretty sheltered and didn't know that the japanese language existed. when i turned 13-ish and got access to the internet for the first time, i discovered subbed anime and finally realized my deeply dumb mistake LOL.

i'm obsessed with the idea of a monster hunter site. i played a few games as a kid/teen but otherwise have no other experience, so i dunno how it would work conceptually. but i know i NEED ONE.

i dunno if this counts but: online research! i love to google things i'm not quite sure about related to my character, the setting, or certain subjects. for accuracy and to get a feeling for my characters! i've looked up things such as "how long does it take to study for archeology in college?", the average height and weight of a male or female at specific ages. and various other mundane things. i also learned all sorts of synonyms for words too! it significantly expanded my knowledge over the years. c:
