try ublock origin! as far as i know, adblock got sold so it doesn't catch some things on purpose.

it's the only one you rly need i think and it's open source so you can be sure it doesn't gather data behind you. in fact, i think a lot of non-open-source extensions should be avoided since you can never be sure what they're doing but that's discussion for another day.

when i said usable i meant non-nsfw or non-covered, not that i did not like them. my apologies if it seemed like i sounded like i was just picky.

I don't think "lol let them not join then xd" works here, given how small the community is when it comes to animanga faces.If you take a look at the flaking discussion you can see that socialising is a huge factor in why people join or leave, so that is also probably why people try to cater to a wider audience / make more sandbox / use NPCs. I've also seen far too many people that assume even though a board is death enabled, they think it will not be put into practice and if it is, it causes a lot of drama and staff gets called out for favouritism or something. That's sort of why I think it would work best in a smaller communities that are all on the same page.

There was a similar discussion on WW about horror sites as well, albeit not as in depth.

Heroes of Might & Magic 3, a game that came out in 1999, I bought originally and am still playing to this day. It is a strategy game that uses hexagonal movement, has base-building a la civilization but is quite far more complex when it comes to battles and numbers. I think it has aged quite well especially graphics-wise despite being so old and the campaign & soundtrack especially hold up well. It also features a random map generator and hundreds of scenarios as well but most of my hours come from the pvp. Don't buy the remake edition on steam but go for gog version as it includes all the expansion packs if any of you do decide to get it though. I'm not best at selling it but it's because I just have a lot of hours on it but I know it's a very niche thing.

My honourable mentions would include paradox games, crusader kings/europa universalis etc but those also have a very steep learning curve and i'd recommend it to history buffs or strategy fans tbh.

a danganronpa-esq role play where your character can be killed by the staff or be declared murderer. i assume it'd work better as a private board but i seriously want a murder mystery that is not only NPCs.
