sometimes i think about how my parents let me read and watch watchmen when i was far too young, definitely young enough that i didn't really understand that we weren't supposed to see rorschach as the hero. i reread the book as an adult and was honestly clutching my pearls about how much of a proto-incel he was, and though i still love the character, it's scary how many people....still.....don't realize that he's not a hero? something something media literacy is dead

14 year old me really saw this severely mentally ill misogynist and was like, "ah yes, liking this character is going to be my personality for the next two years"

I used to hate cooking when I was younger and cycled through like two or three meals when I had to cook and they always tasted like cardboard so I get that. Now that I live alone(?) I started to enjoy cooking so much more and I make a mean leek and potato soup. I even bake some fresh bread to go with it

started reading tower of god and i have never been more disappointed by a plot twist. it felt like i spent season 1 getting to know all these characters and falling in love with them and season 2 starts and they've all been replaced by a completely different cast and the genre's changed. made it #103 chapters in but i gotta tap out.

i lasted longer but eventually gave up too. literally only reading khunbam panels and following a blog that would announce every update if they've become canon

The more time passes by the more amazed/amused i get about how a fun race that gets nuked anyway is where someone draws the line of “wow you disrespected the work i did” and thinks thats perfectly a good justification to be an ahole to me
