great to come back to being villainized for having a different take on ai generated pics lol.

i'm not going to try and argue any further and shit on me all you want, but i still stand on my point: i use ai if i can't find a suitable fc for the character i want while i have no obvious intentions of making a profit off of it.

i know i'm going to be on the probably really unpopular side of this topic, on a more personal level for rp, i don't really watch that much anime to begin with or dive into the world of gacha games, so my knowledge of animanga fcs is very limited beyond the popular ones. ai generated pics capture almost exactly what i want and i can get variations of them instead of just reusing the same pic for every single image field. they're pretty much my last resort in the event i can't find something that doesn't fit the description of what my character is.

that said, i also don't mind if a site bans ai generated pics as well as i am 100% against the idea of using them to make a profit. obviously, you're making money off of someone's hard work by using ai to create art from someone else's style, so that's a big no no for me. on a hobbyist level, again, i prefer to use them IF i do not find a picture that fits into my envisioned character.

nah see 'cause the amount of times i've gotten ask "so what's your character like" while not only i've linked to my character's app, BUT ALSO DID A WHOLE ASS PLOT PAGE JUST TO SUMMARIZE WHAT MY CHARACTER'S BEEN THROUGH. i usually don't write too much either, or i think i don't. i just add in parts where i think matters in terms of how it impacts my character and how others may view them.

my character app is not just fancy decoration dang it :sob: i did not put in consideration, time, and effort just for the app to be overlooked and straight up ignored. maybe it's because i actually read through apps to have an idea of who a character is that if something as basic as that (for the hobby) is not reciprocated, i'm just like hfdxfds.

now ALL OF THAT SAID, i have absolutely no actual problem if people don't read my app. it happens, not even gonna bother making a fuss about it, and i have no problem giving a synopsis of who and what my character is. it's just a little frustrating that (in a genera sense) no reads your hard work ):

traveller, wraith, and scarlet have p much said everything for my take, honestly.

I think we should normalise pulling out of threads because they aren't sparking joy or filling a need. So much resentment can be avoided if we're upfront and honest with each other, and accept that not all writers have a spark.

this x10000

i've never really had a problem with pulling out of threads, but that's mainly out of the fact that i've bitten more than i chew with how many threads i'm in, so people are more understanding that i'm an itty bitty idiot who took on WAAAAY too many threads for my sanity. i appreciate people that come to me and go "hey, i'm sorry but this isn't working out for me" than to straight up ignore our thread (which i will say is WAY worse than being honest imo).

so i agree, normalize this sentiment and NOT take it personal. like it's really not you, it's me :pensive:

ngl dbz is such an open world that i don't think i ever seen a site tackle the more political aspects of its universe. i'd really think it'd be neat to see how it's handled and see how not just pure power, but also politics can have a role in the site's direction c:
