There is a HP rpg aimed at adult characters: theministryrpg.com
It is set in the ministry of magic and allows people to rp adult witches/wizards (as a disclaimer, I don't actually rp there myself, so can't give more detail than that).
oh, i think a lot of the real life face claim harry potter sites focus on adult life actually, there are so many of them and i can give some advice too. but they probably meant it to be animanga fcs since animanga puts more weight in action side of things and less on the stuff like applications. they can correct me if not though!

that said, i also support adult wizarding world still.
oh sorry for not clarifying! i did mean animanga claims not real life claim sites. i'd like to see the trend carry over to the animanga community since real life claims aren't really my thing.

I just started reading the comic Skyward by Joe Henderson and would love to see a site based on it. The earth has become a low gravity world after the events of G-day, the day when the earth's gravity shifted. Humanity has done what it does best and adapted to this drastic change. But they must remain vigilant or risk floating away into space like the poor victims of G-day. Currently humans are split between two groups, those who use magnetized shoes to stay on the streets in fear of floating away and those who embrace this low gravity and learned to freely soar the sky scrapper tops with the aid of equipment.

Of course there's going to be more to it considering that there is only four issues currently and I don't want to risk spoiling any of the story for any who may be interested in reading it. But that is the basic setting for the comic. The idea itself is unique and would probably make for an interesting slice of life rp that is very familiar but simultaneously fantastical.

i wanna see a super power site where the powers aren't put on restriction,,, i hate writing in depth what my character's power is and constantly double checking to make sure they aren't too over powered. like plz guys, i know there are some people who do make one shot one kill characters, but most of us just want some cool creative freedom

also, might i add, a super power site where the admins rng a word (or two) and you must create a power/character based off that word. like,,, imagine the possibilities....

I have to recommend Ascendant again because being overpowered is like half the point. Powers are judged entirely on whether or not they'd be fun to play against in a thread.

personally, i'd really love to see an animanga site based on real life figures - where you, like, create a character and they have to follow a similar life path to someone's real life! for example, you make your own character, and whether by the staff's decision or your own - the figure that they're assigned to or choose is, say, anna delvey! and now, your character's "goal" and purpose on the site is to be able to pull off giant cons not unlike those anna delvey irl did in the site's setting, of course with deviations where you think they'd fit - and the same would apply with other people, like marie curie etc.! it'd be kind of similar to reincarnation, i guess?

it'd probably be really complicated to pull off (and i'm not really even sure i'm making sense as i describe it), but it's something i've been mulling over lately, especially since i've been reading more and more stories about real life people that fascinate me lol

Ah!! This makes me think of a seinen manga from a few years back called Afterschool Charisma (link). (Content warning: suicide mention + attempt, characterizing of Adolf Hitler, possible heresy; maybe a few other things that might seem taboo but I can't find any that would deter the faint of heart.) This would be a rather interesting concept, however! A lot of what you're saying totally makes sense, and I'd love to see something quite like it.

A site where members actively contribute and play into the existing setting and plot. I feel like lore and plot is often sacrificed in lieu of having super epic character moments or endless socializing between characters. Like, in fantasy-ish roleplays it sometimes feel like everyone is some super special half-demon or angel or god or son of the dragon or comes from some alternate dimension. I'd like to see a shonen rp where factions and the story offer basic shapes that members can mold their own characters into.

That also ties into another point others have already made. A site where you can make accomplished characters right from the start. Not everyone always wants to write a character that is at the start of their journey. And that's less about power, but more about immersion. I COULD write a 50 year old woman who's been places and done stuff, but if I can't give her the skills to back that story up it feels wack. Having a diverse cast is the spice of rice.

- for some reason, I've been really wanting an anime/manga twilight roleplay for the last month or so. of course, it doesn't have to play out like the books/movies, but just the world itself is interesting and, I like the idea that vampires "sparkle" and have a less-violent role to play. there could be canons based on the book/movie's characters, and I think it would just be really different

- another thing I want but can't really explain how it could be turned into a roleplay would be something based off of Full Moon Wo Sagashite, where certain characters are sick, but never-the-less, try to obtain their dreams, and are assigned shikigami, who of course, only became the guardians and undertakers of death because they once took their own lives themselves. it would be really neat to see the progression of this -- if the characters achieve their goals, if the shikigami become human or have to move on, if they end up falling in love, etc. If it was somehow made into something bigger and could reach a wider audience of writers, i would join something like this

- also really yearning for a roleplay where characters are born onto a small island/town, but are "gifted/cursed" with small abilities.. kind of like a roleplay from a while ago called "Destined". Except, staff random chooses who are gifted/cursed and who are human.

- animanga teen titans roleplay

- and lastly... I really want a roleplay set on a camp-site in the middle of no-where or secluded college campus, where there is a murder mystery. characters go in, unknowingly, and may end up being killed. characters who are killed are then turned into "ghosts" that haunt the grounds. characters try to survive and figure out who the homocidal maniac is, while also growing in development and relationships. this is probably the one that intrigues me the most out of all of the suggestions i have made so far, and I don't know why I want this so badly. I think it could be very well done if the staff do it right.

pokemon where you can play gijinka and pokemon as well as humans with the gijinka being treated the same as pokemon

There was a site with a concept like this yeaaaars ago that sort of had the same feel as m/s sites since the gijinka (i think they were more shifters there) were owned by the humans and were used in arenas and whatnot, and I would love to see something like it come back.
