Although my knowledge for this fandom is very kind of low, I'd like to see a Naruto rp with like, custom villages and bijuu. Or maybe full on custom backgrounds for canon villages; how they were formed different compared to its canon counterpart. I don't mind canon lore, but I always prefer custom ones instead because that's where the creative juices really start to flow for me.

there's 4 custom villages with extended lore, but the bijuu are the same (despite the fact that the circumstances of their creation is different)

I'm not sure if I'm the only one that likes this but I would love an old route based pokemon site. I love a slice of life site as the next guy or gal but I miss having to go through routes to get somewhere with my character. So I can have actual character development and catch my team rather than be allowed to have a full team at the start.

Not quite what you're looking for but Hoenn may be a match:

You can go route from route (we've had someone do that) but you're not forced to.

You can start from 0 and start developing your team. You can catch pokemon in solo threads or with other members.

Other players can start with a few pokemon but not a full team. Several trainers have done a lot of character development with their pokemon but it's not a requirement.

this was me like a few weeks ago

there's a charm to going through the routes, starting in a lab and having staff choose your starter (or even picking through a list but i like the blind pick tbh)
a++ for original regions and lore

i know at the end of the day its grinding out threads with people to progress, even levels if they do that (which usually they did) but it was neat when you were feeling that sort of rp experience ... even if sometimes it was hell

pls pls pls. It's so nice to have someone understand this feel, I have looked at some sites opened but its not the same even if it is an option. I know it was a pain in the butt for staff ( I should know ages and ages ago i staffed for a site like this ) I miss the old style so much.
