What circumstances do you consider is the prime time you post? Like, do you get the surge at 3am? After drinking hot coffee turned cold in room temperature? After talking to a friend?

I don’t actually know the answer for myself lmao. I notice more when i lose the will to write (burnout or something happening irl). Pacing myself is really important; i have to enjoy other things to maintain it. Maybe it’s a dopamine thing where, if i rp too much, my happiness level is off the charts and i ofc start getting immune to it and i start feeling disappointed since i’m not on the peak anymore and blame that on the rp

This question just came up bc i do get bursts of inspo at 3am (after a nap) (a bad timed nap clearly… like now.) and my will to write a post goes up the more i spend time outside… like everyone..

My golden posting time is the moment I read the other's post and feel excited to continue the story.

But usually, my best posts come out after I walk the dogs, as I spend the entire walk ruminating on the post I'll write.

we will have peace at any cost
at my peak, it would vary wildly. sometimes right after school! sometimes late at night. sometimes it'd be an all day thing and i could sit down and bust them out all at once. sometimes inspo hit while i was in the middle of the supermarket on my phone... or once, i even wrote a post during an anonymous event, and replied to the person i was rping with, on the bus, sitting right next to them, and they had no idea...

didn't matter when, what, where. anytime was a golden posting time.

god would i give ANYTHING to feel that again. now it's like the moon has to be in the right spot, stars aligned, sacrifice a goat, etc etc

Late at night when I have way too many owed in the queue and I won't sleep until it's 3am and they're all done.

For some reason I can never seem to knuckle down and focus during standard business hours.

i'm a bit of a 'whenever the whimsy strikes' kind of guy, but if i were to pick my most consistent time of day it would be like the ass crack of dawn when i probably should be sleeping but my mind is too active.

HOWEVER, what trumps all of this is if there is an important or stressful project that i also have on my plate that i am putting off. then i will have infinite muse for posts that i will procrastinate on said important project with until it is physically not feasible for me to do so any longer.
