my experience with what i'm 90% sure is omicron:

- it sucks
- but it's basically just a shitty cold with a nasty cough
- and it's gone very fast
- i can see how this shit spreads, people probably just think they got a cold b/c of how fast it catches on and then leaves. the only reason i got a covid test was b/c i had rare symptoms and wanted to make sure it wasn't strep (b/c strep honestly scares me).

so I checked our canon list. I don't know much about genshin impact, lo siento, but I believe Lumine is open on Lovelorn and we have a bunch of Genshin characters popping around. I think our Aether is the traveler? I don't know what that means but that's basically the extent of my knowledge.

I don't play a Genshin, so I don't know what everyone's position on everything is. But I've found this community pretty welcoming to my Aerith, so I hope you can find a good thread partner too ^^.

i pretty much refuse to join proboards sites that require more than one account because i hate its account switcher that much. i also hate proboards coding so i won't join a proboards site that requires templates. because of that, pixel perfect is the only proboards site i've been on in years.

i see the other benefits of proboards, but really I just can't get behind it when Jcink also has file hosting for every image I use on my site.

Ars Arcanum is now in soft opening! I've finished the app format, and have pretty much finished the basic lore. There's still a lot of refinement to do, and the skin is still ugly in parts, but we'll Get There.

Some things to note: while you can build off the base lore, you can also play characters from other continents on the planet. There are many other continents and countries, and I am absolutely ok with members making those up. You can also play characters from other planes of existence, so long as those planes are mostly original in origin. Basically consider us now a sort of "fantasy panfandom but for OCs only."

currently working on a site that has very loose lore and an optional progression system so. you literally don't have to pay attention to the 5e mechanics to tell stories, and the "rewards" system doesn't offer things for non-progression characters (since the progression is just For Fun and no is punished for opting out). we're also extremely loose with what powers you can have and what magic you can use and what kind of fantasy creature you can create.

we're a bit late on "collaborate on world-building" tho because i've already kinda built the regions but i'm allowing people to create locations within those regions and religions and races and cultures.

we're almost to soft-opening so if you're interested, check the second banner in my sig.

as a note i literally just made this site to play with a friend, and we already have a bunch of people interested, and i'm so excited to see them all writing and plotting. there are people who are joining my sandbox? and they're interested in what i have to write? pogchamp my dudes.

i'm so grateful for all these new members even if we're just in Falling Bricks stage. i hope i provide them a place they enjoy playing in.

i love watching new players in d&d go, "I want to be a healer, so I'll pick Cleric!" I was one of you once. It took me not very long to discover that yeah, sure, my cleric could heal-- but she could also out-DPS everyone else in the party.

Update: I've gotten most of the region lore done. I need to make boards and make a pretty skin. I'm working very slowly on things as I'm finishing up my semester in college. Projected January opening is pretty feasible.

double posting because w/e

another staff member was like "i don't want you to have to code a new skin palette for me" but i'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs going "i'm coding the entire thing in variables anyway in order to change the skin color i just need to change the variables"

anyway because of this and javascript i can make the entire skin purple if i wanted to.
